Just got one about 6 months ago and absolutely love it! Handles great in the snow as well. Have a all black one and get comments all the time even though I live in Denver with lots of brand new audi's everywhere.

Just a clarification for people. The car that is reviewed here is not an S-Line. It is a base level Avant with minimal options (no rear climate control, non-colorized screen in gauge-cluster, no automatic headlights, base-level infotainment system with the volume and control knob above the climate controls, and it doesn’t have the B&O audio system) and pretty tasteless aftermarket touches (most notably the grill, but the aluminum trim was off of a newer Audi, probably an Allroad). The door sills don’t say S-Line, there are no S-Line badges on the exterior, it is not at the S-Line lowered ride height, and it does not have the S-Line sport seats in the front or rear and it doesn’t have the 3-spoke steering wheel. Yes you could get the S-Line package as either exterior, interior, or both, but this car has neither. Another way to tell is that it has a tan headliner; S-Line cars have a black headliner. He also states that the car has a 6-speed transmission, but all of the 2011 A4 Avants’ came with an 8-speed “S-Tronic” transmission.

The « 8 speed » is a tiptronic transmission. You could at that time get an optional « 7 speed » S tronic transmission which is a dual clutch transmission

@@xilio9661 not for the 2011 A4. The only available transmission on the Avant during the 2011 model year in the US was the 8-speed. The 7-speed that you are talking about was the automatic transmission option for the S4, not the A4. You might also be confused because Audi switched the transmissions around for the B9 generation, so the new A4s have the 7-speed and the S4s have the 8-speed.

That B8 is S-line, but only exterior wise. That car only has the s-line exterior design. 2x s-line gives you s line badge on the steering wheel, s-line door panels and more, and 3x s-line includes s-line badging seats with a more sportier trim

Great video review. I own one and have my rear floor- board in the reverse like you showed. I don't this car is a S-Line model thou... mine is a Prestige with some S-line features and it has a 3 spoke steering wheel; the seats have S embossed and the door sills say S-Line. Some models even have a sport package....Love my B8 Avant. May keep it to pass on to my daughter.

My first car i bought was this model. I still have it and its a A4 2.0 TDI 2x s-line Quattro with electric S4 sportseats swapped and its such a great car, i've never experienced a better awd system than this. i live in norway and its alot of snowy winter and its a amazing winter car.

B8 TDi mutlitronic owner, no problems with so far (150k milles), hoppefuly it will continue to perform well. Somehow these multitronic CVTs are more reliable than DSGs if serviced regulary

I have a 2012 Glacier White Avant that I purchased new. I’ve dropped a fair amount of dough into it replacing the rings, pistons and timing chain due to oil consumption issues. So I’ve dropped a bit of money into the A4. . Recently added BBS wheels, road pilot super sport tires, and a stage 1 tune. The car has been dropped, with sway bars added. I just ordered Bilstein coilovers. Also plan on adding a Borg Warner turbo, down pipe, intercooler. Much cheaper than buying a new car.

Kevin Lui I ordered a k 04 turbo through CTS for $1500. I’ve also ordered a intercooler for 699, although currently out of stock for the B8 motor. I will need an upgrade for the tune which will cost an additional $ 100 since I’ve already purchased the stage 1 tune for $600. I’ve also purchased a different intake.

Hate to burst your bubble but this is not an S line. S line features black headliner, black pillars, half suede sport seats, 3 spoke steering wheel, and S line door scuff plates. You have a base model

The RS-Style grill and the Quattro badges on the fenders aren't stock. And you don't have the sport seats. S-line wheel is always three spoke.
