we sold our 2021 truck and 2020 winnebago, every lake, every rv park has become way over crowded like trailer parks. people are reserving a year in advance. we are now overlanding and camping in areas most people dont see and we love it.

They're hardly the only ones who continually trade in. Wonder if it's more about trading something in for new, while the trade still has value. If you live on a monthly payment scenario, never expecting to pay things off, that's what you do.

@@TravelswithDelaney My wife and I say the same thing. We just sold our '21 Tab400 and bought an Airstream 23' Flying Cloud. It's a total game changer. We looked at all of the other trailers on the market, and after owning the NuCamp, the ONLY camper that we found with the same quality (or better) was Airstream. We also found that the 23' Airstream tows smoother than the Tab400 (the AS is a twin axle with shocks and suspension), and we get the same fuel mileage with the 23' 5200 pound Airstream that we did with the NuCamp Tab400. Plus, I don't think we could ever go away from the instant hot water heater and ducted A/C. These are the only 2 manufacturers we have found that actually use real wood for walls instead of the flimsy paneling / thin drywall.
@jasonbrune2865 Жыл бұрын
Very excited to see what the new rig will be. We stubbled onto your channel because we have the NuCamp Tab400. Feel like we will follow your path as we get older too.

Sometimes opportunities just present themselves. We will only make the change if we sell this before our opportunity sells.
@thetravelinghoundBristol Жыл бұрын
I guarantee the new one wont be a Lance. I know for sure mine wont be. Patrick, do yourself a favor and walk right past ANYTHING you look at that has a Dexter torsion axle. I know you had issues with yours, and right now my 2465 is sitting in Arizona , 2200 miles away from my home waiting on 2 new axles to be built after they were both damaged due to potholes on interstate 40. Estimated time…. 12 weeks. A torsion axle CANNOT be repaired, ONLY replaced. Ridiculous design and Dexter knows they put out a trash product especially in the 2020 production year which is why they are still replacing them for free on 2nd and 3rd owner trailers.
