This really is a super clean jeep! Tommy may have made fun of the rattle can upgrades but in person you have to look for the imperfections to find them. I'm glad the offroad recovery crew and this nice couple will benefit from the sale of this fine example of a jeep

The mighty TJ. Perhaps one of the greatest Jeep lines ever made. If they would fix some of the small quirks like the leak prone rear main seal and the poor hvac blower design and maybe do something to get it north of 15 mpg, it could be near perfect.

Oddly, the one time I saw a C4x4Recovery vehicle, it was hauling a mangled side by side back down Old Stage Rd. lol And a thing on side by sides...lol I wonder sometimes if the owners of them have ever imagined what they look like in them. Especially in the cold. Hilarious! Great couple and great thing you've done here, guys. Awesome as usual.

Hey there guys. I’ve really enjoyed all your videos. Especially with the cheap Jeep. This past summer I bought myself a 2002 Jeep Wrangler as my second vehicle to have fun with it. Definitely an cheaper than buying new. Love my 2002 Jeep TJ. I have the 6 cylinder over the four and it’s nice. I tend to watch a lot of videos on KZbin and let them run through auto playing on my AppleTV through the app. I watched one of your videos that had a Jeep TJ that was Patriot Blue, had a roof rack system, a high lift mounted to the back and various other accessories. This was someone’s Jeep that you were doing the walk around with him and asking questions. I believe he stated he purchased the Jeep in Chicago. I loved the look of the Jeep and mine is looking somewhat similar. I can’t find the video again for the life of me. Is there anyway you can link the video for me or tell me the exact name so, I can find it again. Thanks for all your great videos. Can’t wait for more Jeep videos.

This Jeep will be absolutely perfect for Russell. You really don't need to spend $50K on a Rubicon, and another $20K on upgrades to have fun. The little Jeep will still be able to drive 99% of those tough trails, and like he said, you don't need the whole support system and extra expenses if you're considering something like a Razor. Perhaps Russell can post a video update from AZ???

Hey Tommy you see a lot of rig so if I may pick your brain for a second? I have just bought a 2013 jk 2dr sport. I only have a budget for one or the other up grade which one is better to start: bigger tires (295/70-17) or rear locker. my terrain is mostly trails either dusty or muddy or snow/ice (remember I can only do one) also it's my daily driver but only on gravel roads to work?

All our vehicles should be a "labor of love", ...it represents ourselves as individuals...it is not an appliance as many are now trying to portray...Just as the clothes on your back tells about who you are, so does what you drive...& how much you care about it...

@georgeetherege83475 жыл бұрын
Given that $5,600 of the purchase price went to (what is hoped is) a recognized non-profit, properly handled there should be a tax advantage for the purchasing couple. Bear in mind the Tax Reform Act raised the standard deduction, eliminating the benefit of any but high donation amounts. Nonetheless, a tax adviser might know how the net purchase price could end up lower than the $11,000 plus. On the other hand, buying a Jeep this old that was thoroughly worked over by folks known to be ethical and have expertise in the realm of Jeep collecting is certainly lower risk than buying from just anybody. Hard to quantify the value, but still a definite value.
