Outstanding. Civilized like an elegant woman, savage like a cat! Where do you find a car like that? Cougar like nobody else’s car ❤❤❤❤

I still watch this video a year later and I still love the car. Almost bought it lmao 🤣

Great car! It could be the same car I took on trade for ‘99-2004 Mustang GT deal. 351C/C6 was a decent street combo.

I had a ‘71 Torino GT - M code 351 C-4v. Original AZ car with AC and laser stripes. Probably most under rated performance car besides the 429 Cobra cars.

I'm not a Ford guy, but a well tuned and dialed in 351c will run like a scalded dog

Yeah it sounds like someone might have the timing a tick higher than it should be

YOU noticed that too huh?? Sounded like a misfire. Possible timing chain fatigue.

I'm a little late to the party as it says sold at this point... But that VIN was an H code car. If that is the original VIN, then that is a 2V Cleveland not a 4V. 4V would be a Q code car or possibly and M since it is a 71

What’s the website where this car is? Google took me to Blackdog Performance Cars and this car is not listed there.

I owned a couple of 72's. You probably are correct about 71 models. I remembered rarely seeing base model Cougars. Perhaps for 72-73 Mercury just went on ahead and made most of them XR7s. "Sales fell to 53,702 units, divided into 23,731 base Hardtops and 26,802 XR-7 models." (Cut & Pasted from an article about 1972 Mercury Cougars)

@@Stucifer during the 67-73 Cougar production run only 72 and 73's were there were more XR7 coupes built, the rarest of that era was the 72 non XR7 model 76D convertible at 1240 total built
