This kind of makes me wish that Avatar : The Last Airbender never ended. It was a beautiful show, filled with comedy, action, and of course, minor drama. I still remember coming home every day, and my brother and me would watch a few episodes a day, let's just say we watched it over 50 times, seriously...one of the few things we bonded over.

Yeah, I think about that sometimes. A lot of people think she was older than Zuko, but she was just indoctrinated into the war mindset far faster and easier than her brother. The episode with them at the beach shows this best. She literally does not know how to function outside of war, and it's several levels of fucked up that she was like that at only 14.

I love you. (Non weird way) I always loved characters for their development and choices. When a character has so much story, detail, and all it makes the perfect character for the story. When I was younger, deep down I always knew Azula was my favorite character. Her personality, past-to-present actions, and development was something worked so hard on and should be loved by all.

She was a well written and developed character, BUT nearly every character except for the Fire Lord developed passed their pasts and did not let their past define them as characters or as people. How many Thousands if not millions died be Iroh's hands or by his orders? Yet he is one of the most compassionate and loving characters in all of literature. Arguably he suffered much worse than Azula and yet he did not let his past define him NOR did he allow his past to be an EXCUSE for his behavior in the present.
