Im in my 70s. Born n raised near Cleveland Ohio. My my. love for the southern ways is deep and b5y reason of my mom n dad. They were born n raised in Buchannon WVa. Back when they were young'ns,about the only entertainment around the small town was barn dances and string pick'n festivals for the locals. As a child,mom n dad would pack us all up n we'd head thru the horribly curvy back woods roads to grandmas in Buchannon. Grandma would have the potbelly stoves and coal fireplace fired up. It was always a treasure to go to grandmas. What takes 4 hrs now,took 8 hrs back then to gdt there. Even up until the Wesleyan college built up across the field from grandmas,they still had the string pick'n get togethers. I m8ss seeing Buckhannon like it used to be.The folks so friendly. So old timey then that even the ladies enjoyed a bit of sniff here n there. I hate living in Ohio. But,thats where all my family is now. All my aunts,uncles,grandma...everyone has passed on.But the love of the southern ways burns deep inside me still and until I go to meet with my family folk in Heaven. Your music is fuel for the fire within me. Keep it playing for us dear folks. For some of us,your music and videos is all we have to rem8nd us of better times in better places. Bless yall.❤
