This is folk, this is culture, this is talent. I'm a foreigner living 24 years in the US now, and many around the world will tell you America has no culture; they're wrong. They never had a chance to witness what this country has to offer, a country where Texas is the size of a typical European country. Plenty of culture here. They will tell you, but America is so young, exactly, it is and it has endured, striven and settled this great expanse. From bayou, palm trees and tropic like climates, to arid deserts to snowy mountains, the shores to the Midwest and even Alaska with its glaciers. It's an amalgamation of perhaps every type of climate in the world ; each region only adding to the collection of cultures. People travel the world but in reality, we have a whole world right here. Girls, be proud of yourselves, this isn't just music, this is part of America, the part that would bring a tear to the eye of those who fought so that this country still stands, ever beautiful. Keep on fiddling, singing and plucking.
