I'm always in tears watching the men and women come home to surprise their families and pets. I am saddened to know how many didn't make it home to their families and their pets for them my sympathies. For all the sacrifices that all of them make I say Thank you! Please take a moment of silence for all who did not make it home.

These were all very heartfelt, heartwarming, touched, etc. Any word that can describe such a pleasant surprise. But the one I found to be the most happiest, was the one where the dog greeted the soldier right at the door. It touched my heart!! Thanks to all those who have, are, and will serve as a soldier. It's a warm feeling, knowing that people who you don't even know will sacrifice their lives just so yours is secure.
@staticcentrehalf71664 жыл бұрын
So you found the dog's reaction - an animal with no sense and who would get excited if anyone walked in to a room - more touching than a child or spouse seeing their loved one on return from active service? Just wanted to check.

It’s incredible to me that people can treat people who served their country so bravely, gave up so much time in their lives, and some sacrificed their lives, with such disrespect. Thank you for your service sir!

god bless you my friend. we have learned better then we did better im sorry for that
@catherinesmith45514 жыл бұрын
So sorry for how you and so many were treated. While I was still in high school, I lost 5 dear, beloved friends who died in Vietnam, the pain for our friends and their families was immeasurable. I think of them still and have to reckon with the fact that today I am older than their parents were at the time but in my mind's eye their faces are still the faces of men only ages from 19 -23! I also have 3 others who came back but suffering ptsd and I would wish that on no one!!! 2 others suffered from exposure to agent orange, all of you who serve have sacrificed so very much and so have your families, you should never have to pay for medical treatment, you should never have to worry about having a home or feeding your families! Shame on us in this country if we cannot at least do that much for those who have served our country and stand between us and our enemies, and while I'm thinking of it we need to treat those who have or are currently serving even if they were not born here but love America enough to step up and defend this country, we need to make it easier for them to become full citizens because they have already done the work of full.citizens. God bless all.who serve❤👏

Makes me feel hopeful that not everything is lost. That we all share our humanity and the rest is only noise created to distract us and destroy us. If we can love our parents and our children so unconditionally so we can love our neighbors and anybody else without caring for their skin color or national origin. Love is love and has to be shared.
