Honestly most people join the military not because of patriotism but because of opportunities. When I joined the recruiter didn't ask me did I want to be more of a patriot he asked did I want to finish college for free and he pointed out what the bonus would be. My point is that young men and women join because of different circumstances in their life not to go fight a rich white man's war. If you think it's wrong then come together and provide opportunities for them so they won't have to choose the military. As for me joining the military was one of the best moves I could've made.

Either way. They volunteered, were not forced, and took that oath to defend everyone in our nation, including that pos that's undoubtedly never done anything in his life worth mentioning, and the people of other nations abroad from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. We don't deploy because we want to. We don't kill because we want to. We deploy and engage the enemy because the political process failed and we were ordered to in order to defend ALL innocent people. We fire when fired upon. We fire when innocence has a weapon pointed at their head and negotiations are not an option. Even we try diplomatic solutions before we're forced to act in the defense of people everywhere just trying to live their lives. Anyone worth their weight in gold wearing the uniform wishes it wasn't necessary, and would rather be out of a job because the world has finally seen peace for everything it's worth and taken it into their lives, but that's not reality. People like this guy need a reality check. You think you're better? Put the uniform on, and see for yourself.

@Jay C I've seen your comments a lot and I know you're gonna make some stupid, illogical point, but first of all many soldiers don't even go into battle. In the military you can have almost any civilian job but in the military. Second of all my father and both my uncles were in the military and never once did they abuse a family. They were all medics there to help their comrades stay alive and make it back home to their families. That's what most soldiers are there for, to fight for people's freedoms and to make sure their fellow soldiers make it home alive and well. Yes, they are probably killing if they deploy, but they arent killing innocent people. They are fighting against evil people who kill innocent people. They arent even allowed to shoot or kill unless the other is a visible threat or is shooting at them. Soldiers aren't even the ones who decide to go to war, it's congress. Some people in the military didn't even want to join but joined because they had no other option and in times when its needed they are drafted for war. If you want to be mad at someone then get mad at the government, not the soldiers. Also no, they aren't brainwashed and many of them don't agree with having to go to war and I know many join so their children won't have to fight the wars happening. They're around to end the war, not keep it going. Educate yourself and actually get some valid points before you respond to me, because you honestly make yourself look like an idiot.

Soldiers fought for oil, money, and on presidents orders not for others freedom even tho they think they are niggas join the army and come home and still get treated like criminals which is why I became Blood. America is not the land of the free it’s the land of chaos. No such thing as freedom here. How I know? I used to be in the army myself I thought I was fighting for my country and for the freedom of others until reality set in. The CIA planted bombs in the twin towers before the planes crashed into them too and one of their agents admitted to it on their death bed. Firemen even found the chemicals from the bombs that caused the buildings to fall demolition style. The CIA did that so they can have a excuse to invade another country just to steal their oil. There’s alot of things the government won’t tell you but they think no one knows what’s really going on. The war in Vietnam also was a big drug deal but I didn’t fight in that war I know veterans that did tho and that’s how the opioid epidemic in America started. The government stole opioids from Vietnam to use on American citizens. Look up CIA:MK Ultra they used opioids on people they kidnapped to run tests of mind control on people in secret labs that were later exposed.

I have served this country for 20 years, and retired back in 2013. I have started to lose my patriotism more and more as time goes by. People talk about "OUR" freedoms, but we don't really have any freedoms, we have "permissions" with exceptions. Our soldiers do not fight for "OUR" freedoms, our lawyers and attorneys do. Our soldiers now fight for other countries freedoms. We have a government the rules us, makes exceptions for our Constitutional Rights, but WE THE PEOPLE, just take with a grain of salt and shrug it off. This younger group of soldiers is all about getting their college degree's and paying off debts, getting discounts. Then there is this view, we send our soldiers overseas and place them in harms way, risk their lives and we pay them what, 30-40K? A forklift driver makes at least 41K, and we pay our 1 STAR GENERALS at least 20K A MONTH!!! America needs help in a bad way, we seem to be more divided day after day.
