She is such a fantasic loco, I once fired her, she was easy to fire, also great sole slip Chris.

Midland Compound 1000 why doesn't she run anymore? Or does she? She seems to be silent, at least for now. Will she ever come back? Also, what was it like on her footplate? These engines fascinate me, so I'd love to learn as much as I can about her.

As far as i know, she’s still in fairly active service on the KWVR.

She's now running again on the KWVR!

Something I find truly Impressive is that 1054's current boiler is actually from a 17" Coal Engine built in 1876, and that she's still going after over a century of operation!

Can you do a sole slip on the LSWR T3 that is currently at Corfe Castle on the Swanage Railway?
@earlofnearshrewsbury7 жыл бұрын
Excellent stuff as always Chris, although most locals pronounce Shrewsbury as it sounds rather than as "Shrowsbury". :)
@ChristheXelent7 жыл бұрын
This is true. Though, I can say that I've heard it both ways from the same people, some even locals.

Chris Eden-Green I pronounce it 'Shroosbury' but my mum says 'Shrowsbury' and my girlfriend told me 'Shrowsbury it is, because your mother, she is ALWAYS right!' D:

How odd to make a video of a specific locomotive and then not show any full shots of it.

I prefer the look of this to a fancy tender engine 🤷♂️ Unpopular opinion 😂

Wooden brakes, really who thought that was a good idea until they catch fire, of course.

This may be pretty difficult, but any chance of a SOLE SLIP review of the LSWR T14 class?
@earlofnearshrewsbury7 жыл бұрын
MiscMischief48 How could a class of loco entirely scrapped by 1951 appear in a series about locos that are the only surviving examples of their class?
@miscmischief48677 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I wasn't thinking at the time of posting that comment. I'm just one of the few that love that engine class so much.

This is the one based at Keighley. But, to the casual eye, it's also easy to confuse this with the TVR tank No 85
