Very nice, it's a mix between a Fichet monocommande and a kaba simplex. You have the reset / selection/increment/program and unlock functions Fascinating that all of those kind of converge in various form factor. This one is neat as it wouldn't be more work to add more disks. Nice démo !

I really enjoy the combination safe locks that work differently than what we are used to in the US. I have several USSR era, French, Polish, and Spain examples. One of these days I'll get my hands on a CNAB.

@@alexandermundy2403 ah nice i was not aware of rosengrens combination locks. I can only find an opening procedure video from a quick search and a simple manual. I do enjoy doing some patent archeology on all these locks. It's pretty instructive most of the time and you can see evolution of design. For example the original Kaba design was so much closer from the Fichet, ie all the selection wheels were not on the same shaft but more distributed on the surface. I have a monocommande coming and should do a comparison video. Keep these video going!

Thanks m0g. I have a complete Soler "Letters" safe lock assembly coming from Spain that should be interesting also. Haven't seen you much on Discord lately. Hope you are doing well.

Looks like Fichet made a lock with somewhat similar principle of operation, if I'm not mistaken

The Fichet C2C, Monocommade, and it's successor the Moneo have similar operation, except instead of pushing at a selected location you turn the inner dial.

@Alexander Mundy - The main vulnerability with these Soler Pulsador and other push button type mechanisms, is the potential for someone to overhear the unlocking sequence. Especially if one knows how the lock functions. After the rack is reset, it's simply a case of counting the licks at each wheel position. But don't take my word for it. It's the reason I'd never use this type of mechanical lock in a safe or vault door.
