Oh man, so many things to mention in this comment section!! As a nurse, I enjoyed hearing your feedback on continuous hand sanitizer usage. It totally sucks and kills our hands! Secondly, I actually like that grey color for the lotion bar! I’m down for trying that mixture out. Lastly, thanks for all the good videos, even if I’m a year behind. I made some soap ( first three different batches) and they dried out my skin like crazy, to the point of itching. They aren’t lye-heavy but might need more time for curing or adjustment to the recipe. However, I made some lotion bars tonight and feel like they’re a success without even testing them yet. Your other video has great tips and recommendations for them which really sets the viewers up for success unlike other channels that just give basic information or recipes without establishing critical thinking skills. It’s been a pleasure watching your videos not just because they’re good and your personality is awesome, but you go into better details about the chemistry aspect. I absolutely love that and i think that’s why I like this hobby as much as I do. I have you to thank for that. So, for the third time, THANKS! You’re awesome.

Such a a great point. People forget that if you was your hands for at least 20 seconds that the bubbles wash all the germs away. Sanitizer is not a replacement for washing hands.

Or maybe colloidal oats? Or would you need a preservative…perhaps the clays are strictly rinse off ingredients.. just always wondered why some ingredients I don’t ever see in body butter or lotion.

Question... could you pour these into column molds or the round mold used for pull through kaleidosoap and then use a bar cutter to make a bunch at once without having to have a bunch of cavity molds?

That’s a cool idea! It could work if the lotion bars are reasonably frozen when cutting. I worry that the cutter would smash the bars before actually slicing through otherwise.

Gonna try this one too! I'm guessing the Candelilla Wax, Cocoa Butter, and Shea Butter are equal measures, I'll do more research on the Argon and Jojoba Oils. What I'm not sure on is where to add the clay. Maybe when adding the scent and Arrow Root? Thanks:-)

@@jaxmom9043 I subscribed and started following her over a year age. She does have several videos about the solid lotion bars in her cache and when you listen to the videos she states that she doesn't write them in her video notes on purpose. She has 'recipe days' now where she explains the recipe as she's making the product and shows the written recipe on a piece of paper in the video. It's her prerogative as owner and video maker. I can respect that. She's giving info for free and it's great info! I've actually made the solid lotion bar using the recipe shebprovided in another video and it's absolutely AMAZING! And to put a video out every day on top of running a business and a family.? I think she's pretty awesome and I don't mind looking for the right video with the recipe. It's also led me to making other items I wouldn't have thought of! Happy hunting😃

@@annettebobko4795 I still think that is a poor way to do things. Either do it right or don’t do it at all. I saw she has several videos I wasn’t about go through and guess which ones had recipes and which ones didn’t. It would only take a minute to type it into the description. So being too busy is not an excuse.

@@MrsSoapAndClay yes! I write all findings down with every recipe too and sometimes it is just a minor adjustment to a recipe that is needed. I haven't used clays in soaps for a long time but i think you have given me the clay bug, again. 😊❤️

The oil clumped up when added to the hot butters probably because you used Jojoba oil which is really a liquid wax

For you to be a "mom" of Jax, I feel sorry that you don't go around scouting youtube mothers to sit and criticize too. Do you need a recipe for life too? She doesn't promise anything. She is sharing her wonderful knowledge, tips and tricks to those of us who watch just fine without a "recipe to follow." SOME of us just come to enjoy the videos and take a break. And I went and viewed YOUR channel and you have a video of "A Bedtime Story" with God. Maybe you need to go back to your channel and re-watch that. You need some God in your life! Did you never hear the expression, if you can't say anything nice? Honestly, if you are here to give these kinds of opinions, don't come any more...find a youtube channel where your opinion is actually important because it isn't wanted OR needed here!
