Mike Pender still has a fantastic voice and I hope he'll carry on singing for a few more years! Loved hearing him singing Four Strong Winds and of course his fabulous version of Solitaire. Thanks Raymond for filming this show and sharing it.

I am very impressed with Mike Pender, especially the way he sang Solitaire. Too bad that sound did not bring the Searchers back on the charts.

Nice to see Mike go back to the legendary Rickenbacker 12 string.

I've heard 'Four Strong Winds' also sung by Neil Young.

Glad I missed this. It's like New Faces. It's not how I rmbr the 60s. Best concert I saw in the 1990s was Manfred Mann minus Manfred, with guests Colin Bluntstone, Alan Price (also very funny) & Chris Farlowe. Not bad eh!

billy j did very well for 72 years of age remember the songs were recorded 50 years ago your voice changes we dont have the same vocal range with age and most people put weight on over years too and he did take the time to come over from the states

A f act. Billy J Kramer's voice was so weak that it had to have his voice recorded twice on the studio tapes.

LOL J. Kramer with a big wig. They are past it there's no doubt.

Hard to believe that Billy J. Kramer was once thought of as a pretty boy without much talent. I thought he had some pretty good records in the '60s. I saw him in concert in the early 90's and he wore a horrible purple suit... than after a break he returned wearing an even worse bright ORANGE suit. His show was pretty good though.

why does billy j kramer do it eh! ? mmmmm
@allenkracalik76627 жыл бұрын
Billy J. Kramer isn't singing, he's talking and shouting his way through the songs. I've seen- -and heard--far better performances from him 1984-on. This performance is really a letdown!

Kramer is at least consistent, he still can't sing even with the rug on his head,

Billy J is very over weight and getting on in years, probably why his voice has gone.
@jimcannon11628 жыл бұрын
His voice has been gone for many years, I saw him in 1983 and he sounded the same then. It's such a shame, but I'm glad he's still able to make a living and his fans sem to enjoy his shows.
