@@spacething5218 Is the game worth playing? Yes. Will there be toxicity? There may or may not be depending on how much you play. For me, I hardly play due to health issues. However, my thing about the toxicity is that you just can't let it get to you. More often than not you aren't going to encounter the same character time after time anyway. So far, the only killer I've played is the Trapper and I've been loving doing so and have received good remarks about it too. So, just have fun and don't take the game personally - let it be a game.

One thing about these survivors is that, it affect both Killer and Survivor(especially solo queue players). Imagine this Claudette and his friend go into a lobby, saw that the killer is a trapper then just gave up on 1st hook, the other 2 survivors are the ones that will hurt the most then the killer that cant have a 'normal game'.

@@spacething5218 In all honesty it differs for the platform (imo) console is easy. Just have your profile private and block messages from unknown players and the toxicity literally doesn't exist. PC is different because unlike console they have an endgame chat and your practically forced to see what they have to say. In the end I'd say yea, just don't take what they say to heart. Just imagine the cringe people behind the screen actually saying that shit. Greasy hair, pizza face etc. because that's more than likely who they are.

A killer with an anti-loop is more fun to loop. If you loop a m1-killer you know that they have never a chance to get you on many tiles. So they get you, when you run out of pallets. So i can understand that strong killer are more entertaining. And a one minute chase against them feels more rewarding than looping weak killers all game. The only problem is when strong killer destroy your team and you get only one chase.

Those are just... complete lies. Are you guys that salty a survivor expressed their dislike for Trapper ? I don't get why you'd say something that untrue if not ? Most players dislike facing Trappers. It's not really a fun killer to face at all since they don't bring anything really interesting or exciting in your chases. And while everybody hates a facecamping Bubba, and some others hate Bubbas because of his one shot, actually a *huge portion* of vet players enjoy a good Bubba who goes for chases. Bubba has an interesting power to face and to try to avoid. I *LOVE* facing Bubbas, and most players with a few thousands of hours also enjoy him. I understand this Claudette saying that Blight, Nurse, Huntress, Billy or Bubba are more fun. You're on the edge constantly, it's a real 1v1 with the killer where mindgames and techs are involved. Against Trapper, you either go on a mission to disarm all traps so the killer becomes sadly a full M1 killer or hope the grass in front of you isn't trapped. I'd add more killers to the "fun to go against list" though, like Pyramid Head, Demoggorgon or Oni. Even Ghostface most of the time just because of how they move and sneak up. I also quite enjoy Wraith and Spirit, but I know a lot of people really hate them. Also, when your teammates go down within 10s against a Bubba you're like "Okay, he has a one shot, understandable" but when your teammates step in traps after traps (the same ones, even !) even when they're out of chases you just want to borrow the Trapper's weapon and kill them yourself.

You don't loop a Huntress or Blight around a LT wall the same way you run a Trapper around a LT wall. I would always take losing a game to a cracked high tier killer than winning against a low tier killer. Because only one of those is still interesting at this point after clocking in 1000s of hours.

I've never seen someone complain about a killer that has been in the game for SO LONG and barely played nowadays. Only at LEAST new players play the Trapper or a few mains. As someone who plays as Survivor (I'm a Jane Main) and Killer (I was a Trapper Main but now currently a Cenobite/Pinhead main) and when face against a Trapper player...I love playing against them. Plus Trapper, along with Myers, makes me be the edge of my seat when I play...I don't get why people hate players of Trapper in all honesty, the pressure and ACTUALLY anxiety of stepping into a Trap is so so THRILLING AND FUN and yet...people playing "Love" against three blink Nurse, adrenaline Blight and facecamping Leatherface than Trapper? Yeah it would, but unfortunately Hag cannot chases as aggressively since you're 4.4m/s and need to keep your perimeter of traps. You could make it work though!

There are times I am so frustrated with the game, less-so for the game itself and more for the community. I've been in similar places as Otz, where sometimes I get impressed by survivors doing something special. After I'm satisfied with the match I'll often get a "ggez" if they escape, even if it's just the person who did, or otherwise I get really agitated since I see "Boring" way too often, as well as other frustration they share for losing. This community has such widespread toxicity when they get an ego.

You always can find hatch even if it isnt visible yet. If you step on it, you bump up a little as survivor. So actually you can check all spawn points through the game in the beginning and know where it will appear for an easy escape

When you walk around and hear a different texture like metal, that’s how you know the hatch will spawn there. It’s very likely she knew that.

@@1DumBum like when you’re walking over stuff, grass makes a certain type of noise, and dirt does too. If you’re walking on something that isn’t metal and it makes a metal noise, the hatch is probably gonna spawn there.

I haven’t tested this, but I think that one of the ways that the hatch is allowed to spawn is between the killer and survivor, within a specific parameter. So in many cases, I think if the hatch has no instructions otherwise on where to spawn, it picks a point between killer and survivor.

yeah otz play a FUN killer at R1 like nurse, billy, bubba, blight, huntress. all fun killers that in no way can easily overpower or cheese the game that would cause unfun gameplay.

I can get Nurse and Bubba (since you can't really do much about a Nurse who's cracked and you can't do much about a Bubba that camps) but what's wrong with the other Killers being able to overpower the survivors if they play well enough? Huntress, Billy, and Blight are my favorite killers to play against and I genuinely don't understand how people think strong killer=unfun to play against. And don't undercut people's skill because they play high tier killers. Being a cracked Huntress, Billy, and Blight take a fuckton of skill.

I use this exact build except switch out corrupt for thrilling. Thrilling actually goes away in time for you to still use pain resonance. It's extra fun on pyramid head because sometimes if you see someone while you're carrying someone who's tormented you can drop them and go for another down. worst case scenario you don't get the second down and you just send the first one to cage.

currently on an eleven 4k trapper streak, using pop, eruption, overcharge, and unnerving presence. last night I had once of the most difficult matches I've ever played, and barely got the win. super coordinated 4 man swf, with beefy items, and 4 macmillan offerings. gave em a GGWP, and complimented them for being extremely tough. the response: we weren't really trying, just goofing around...

@@soloh8r Lmao. Now i actually hope they were being serious, and weren't trying. When I say a tough match, I mean it. I have over 3k hours, and these guys were insane. some of the craziest plays I've ever seen. they even got value out of soul guard at least 3 times. I fought for every down, and again for the hook. If they could go harder, I hope I get to experience it someday.

Honestly i love going against trappers and have a lot of fun when i do. Like huntress, deadslinger, trickster, require good aim, as trapper i find requires more strategy and prediction. It almost feels like a game of chess to me. And i love it because of that

if you don't care don't read 🤨🤯 a pig on the pyramid head map (I somehow can't remember the name currently) with starting traps on heads, one box on the bottom floor they camped and the rest on the top is worse than camping bubba, 3 blink nurse, and adrenaline blights. that add-on is normally garbage anytime I've gone against it and they got the luckiest box setup with the stupidest map possible we couldn't do anything bcs the box everyone needed was the one on the bottom she was camping.

best part is too the killer was garbage and getting juked and looped by everyone but she'd always go back to camp the box so the match was just over. if luck was a build that's the worst killer in the entire community, I've never lost to that add-on before and the one time it happens it's bcs of the unluckiest match known to the game. how does the game think it's okay to put one box on the bottom, and make it the one every survivor needs to get it off. our team must've had a combined amount of demon luck or something garbage for something like that to happen.

The claudette is demented. I LOVE when i get a killer i can actually loop „normally“ and i think that is pretty much just trapper. Everyone else has anti loop abilities be it demo or pig. Wraith is definitely not a standard loop anymore.

It's possible that Cheryl knew the Hatch was there (the Hatch's hitbox loads at the start of the game and you can walk over it, so if you notice that, you know here it'll spawn), however maybe she thought you'd grab her out of the animation, so she tried to bait you into attacking and escaping during the cooldown. Or she didn't know it would spawn there and got jumpscared like me. Could be that

starstruck/agi/pain res is the build I’ve been running on spirit and I’ve been having a lot of fun with her, even with her smaller terror radius! my fourth perk is a flex spot for corrupt, lethal, bbq, etc., it’s a great build :)

Talk about disarming a trap from inside a locker, i cleansed a totem from inside one in the asylum map and the prompt to exit the locker vanished...was stuck there while the EGC was happening and when the time ran out i was still alive there, when i got 3 crows the blight came to rescue me lol
