First of all, people say you look great because you do. It's not about the size of your clothes or how much concealer you wear...it's that glow of meeting your newest love, of loving selflessly. I don't know who needs to hear it, but all new moms look great! I've had lots of babies, and my last turns 4 this year. Watching this video is bittersweet. I'm so glad I did though, because I can relate to so much and I'm nodding along with a friend. I love how often you say every mom and every baby is different. Learning how to take cues from this new human instead of following a book was the most important thing I learned how to do.

I love this! I’m 61, and if I lived close, I’d bring meals, do laundry, play with the older kids, and whatever else I could do to help. This video reminds me that even tho I do not live near you, I live near plenty of other new mamas who would appreciate kindness. Thanks to you, I’ve reached out to some that I think may need a bit extra help. Also, big question on my mind….how is the DISCO van coming along? Would love an update!

I started watching you about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I'm a retired 64 yr old guy who enjoys cooking. Divorced, never had kids. Kind of adopted my neighbors girls as family. Watched them grow up. Now they are having kids. I'm trying to get them to watch you. Not my expertise, but I think you could be helpful to them. Thank you for what you do.

People say you’re beautiful and look great because they know how hard the newborn phase is and how much you’ve gone through. They want to encourage you and help you feel amazing even though you’ve been spit up on, gotten no sleep, and have done nothing more than feed the baby and change diapers. ❤️ Life is a miracle and also so much work. I think women often feel like their failing even though they’ve accomplished so much. You’ve been an encouragement to so many. Let them attempt to encourage and compliment you ❤️

One thing I realized with my first was that during pregnancy everyone is so focused on how you're doing and feeling and they want to know about you. Once the baby's here they literally only ask about the baby, unless it's a mom asking because they understand, of course. That was so hard to adjust to. Love your energy and real life in your videos! ❤️

Wow this is so helpful to me! Especially you talking about 0-1 and how hard that transition is. Having no support and the shock of it all. That is literally my experience with my 6 month old. Moved to a new state right before giving birth. Had no support. The books really didn’t prepare me AT ALL for how hard pp would be and I had major ppd and ppa. I will say it’s better now and I’m learning so much but man is it the hardest thing in the entire world whether it’s your first kid or 5th, what an amazing thing it is to be the sole provider for your little one. Props to moms seriously.

Hi Kim. I watch your videos each time you post a new one. I used to be a busy Mom (like you) - now mine are grown. There's good days, and not so good days - yet it's all this incredibly wonderful blessing. Being parents is our greatest role in life. You are a pro !! You may not realize this, but what you & Alex are doing each day, is you are teaching your kids to be wonderful parents just like you. When they have babies, you'll witness them nurturing and providing the best care of them. You taught them that. It's the greatest of life's rewards yet to come. And, so many more babies to hold. Keep doing EXACTLY what you're doing. Lots of love, Nancy

I definitely understand all the emotions with the last baby. We are expecting our last baby (similar reasons: having enough time for our kids), and first girl. I was surprised and excited to be experiencing a little girl, but was a lot more emotional than I thought putting giving away all the little boy clothes. So many firsts and lasts with this baby. Everything is so precious and wonderful, but also so sad and emotional at the same time! Add in the hormones and I don't know how we function at all. 😂 Enjoy this time. Such an amazing, crazy stage of life!

It’s overwhelming and exhausting- and Im totally touched out and man trying to explain that to even a loving and supporting dad is so hard. Moms are incredible superhero’s that Carry Soooo much on their plates that is mindless- the world would fall apart without us and it’s hard to feel blessed somedays but looking at it as “I get to have these children” is a great way to put things in perspective. I have watched your videos for several years and loved watching your videos during our night feeds. Our son was born just a few days before Meredith and he falls asleep to the sound of your voice 🤣 today my son isn't feeling well and once again fell asleep to the sound of your voice. Thanks for being our baby whisperer Kim!

Kim you were my best friend when I was postpartum a couple years ago, and you will be again next summer when I've got a newborn again. You've got this and I wish we both had people IRL we could rely on to help

I had my first when I just turned 18, had just graduated high school, and my mom refused to talk to me. So it was HARD. But we figured it out and now my oldest is 11. I love all the help you offer because like you, I felt like I wasn't prepared!! I am the one who offers every first time mom the advice I wish I received. If it helps at all, I'd be happy

I feel for you Kim every time you mention not having a solid support system outside of Alex. Kudoos to you for making it all on your own. Your beautiful spirit shines through to us and I love how much you give to others and having gatherings.

I think it’s so sad how you are always entertaining and surrounded by people, yet no one offers you help. I would be cutting people out of my life left and right. Also that Oprah video saved my sanity after I gave birth to my twins. I randomly remembered seeing that interview years and years previously and I searched for it and studied it. It SAVED my sanity and helped me help my children. Amazing. Also - you are looking good Mama, and Wolfgang is wonderful. But I wish you had true friends and family around you. You deserve it. Love from Iceland.

Been watching Kim for awhile now and this is definitely the most rattled I've ever seen her after giving birth. Postpartum is hard sometimes, and that's okay. Remember that you can't take care of anyone else if you aren't taking care of yourself.

Kim I just loved this. Even though I am about 25 years past newborn/postpartum I still enjoyed this. My girls are 22 months apart. They are 25 and 26 right now. The best thing my Mama told me is “It won’t last forever”. She was so right. Man I miss her so much. Those long hard days with diapers and bottles and sickness. (My husband worked nights back then)They were long hard days. But they did not last forever. Those were good old days and we have a good new day each time the sun comes up. You and Alex are doing a great job!!!❤ Ps. I wonder if they make one of those Boppie Wraps for a 26 year old. They still snuggle up to Mama and I still love every second of it 💕💕

"you're my best friend" 🎶 (Queen) Indeed I always look up for a new video. I've been following before you had Meredith. you've been present in tough times and somehow help me through it it. I've always been glad for this "friendship"

Hi Kim, I am just half way this vid - first of all, let met congratulate you for your little Wolfgang 😘, but also for taking the time to make this video - and can not ignore the fact that this " no help" is pretty present in your life, I mean... ( inside voices) is there no one who seems to see that ? I have two kids myself and we were also on our own - the 4 of us - but it breaks my heart, honesty. Much love from the Netherlands

After my friend had her first I went over and offered to do her dishes and she thought that was so weird. A few months later she said ‘remember when you offered to do my dishes? I totally should have taken you up on that and I will if I ever have another one!’ Lol. How is Wolfgang so big!! He’s so sweet!

I have a 3 year old girl and a 5 month old boy, and you were my friend through the struggles of the newborn stage I moved to my husbands home town 2,000 miles away from my family and I felt/feel so alone here. My husband works a lot so I can stay home with the kids and during the first two months of my sons life he was working 7 days a week and I just want to say how thankful I am for your channel. You are always so encouraging and uplifting, relatable, and you make me laugh so hard. 🎶 Thank you for always being a friend🎶

My kids are all grown…well 2 are in their early 20s and youngest is almost 18 and I miss those baby days so so much. I was so young when I had my boys and wanted to rush them growing up because I was stressed being a single mom in a marriage. I just wish I had taken in every single moment when I had the chance. Kim you are such a wonderful momma. Wolfgang is absolutely precious!!! 💚☺️
