I would say having bad tutorial dosnt make it a broken game, by that logic Minecraft is also a broken game. Phasmaphobia is a fun game, it’s more simple than it seems XD dosnt change it being a riot to play with friends wether you know how to play or not.

The difference is that games like Minecraft are about exploring, games like phasmophobia are about playing the role of someone who is competent in a field

@@lisahenry20 yeah game genera plays a role, but I’d say considering the title of the game modes you aren’t meant to be great at the start in phasmo. (Also they re did the tutorial last major update so now it’s actually helpful XD) even still with Minecraft has a huge issue with how to discover key features, villager trading, netherite, the whole enchantment system, red stone(mostly), the nether to some extent and the entirety of getting to the stronghold and the end. You could even argue other features aren’t shared properly either in game. (Archeology potentially). Most of thease are learned systems out of the game or from other people, much the same as phasmo. I love both Minecraft and phasmo but it’s a general issue they and many games have or had.
