My family is from there, the stuff we seen, in 1967 my grampa was the Scout Leader for the area. Camping out in the mountains, huge flashes lights, within the hour , Army was in and escorted them out. He did the maintenance, snow grading on all the roads there

Malmstrom AFB is not "just outside" GNP. It's probably a good 2 hour drive or more. I can't remember for sure because l haven't been to Great Falls where the AFB is located for about 15 years.
