Okay it was a bit frustrating watching you struggle with how to do things when it seemed pretty clear, especially when you ignore the ui and directions haha That being said, your build was much prettier and more fun to watch than most of the other videos I've seen about this game. You actually put thought into what you made and how you built and I'm genuinely looking forward to watching the next episode! honestly, the controls do seem janky? There's an issue with selections, and I think they could also have handles so you can move the objects that way, one grid at a time, or you can click and drag.
