What do you do about parts appearing as not fully defined after you bring them into a subassembly? (Their names appear with a (-) to the left.

Sub assemblies work just like every other assembly so when we add new components to the sub they need to be mated appropriately for the context. If those parts are meant to show motion then they will not be fully defined. if they need to be locked down then mates may need to be added to lock it up.

Can I able to create sub assembly and save separately and finally assemble them In a main assembly?

I apologize I am not sure I understand your question completely, but I believe the answer is yes. You can create a sub assembly as a separate file and add it into a final assembly. Instead of insert part you would use insert assembly in the final assembly choosing the sub assembly you have already created.

There are ways to copy the info over, or you make the sketch info available in the sketch that can be accessed in the assembly. Contact your VAR's technical team to to get some tips for best practice.

I have a problem with Subassemblies not rotating around concentric mates. I use as few mates As possible to keep things lose. I only have one pointer. How to hold an part to rotate an attached part. its like assemble a truck with only one hand.

Sub assemblies when added to an upper level assembly are considered to be rigid with no internal motion by default. If you want to show the motion that exists in the sub at the upper level you need to yous the Flexible assembly mod for the sub. I just tried the reorganise components option and placed to parts to the top level assembly, but it appears i have lost the linear component pattern feature which was used to place components in a lower level assembly, is this standard or have i gone about it the wrong way?

The components in your lower level assembly likely need to be moved higher up in the assembly. You can expect some mates or patterns to need redefining if their placement is based on geometry in a higher level assembly.

Hello Muhammad, you would need to drag individual components to the subassembly, or use the Structure Editing tool. You can also open that subassembly and then add components just like any other assembly.

That is probably something best brought to your VAR's technical support team. There are lots of possible reasons for reference issue that are very context sensitive.
