Hello, I wanted to ask them if they have any video that explains how to model a magnet, but assigning magnetic properties (north pole and the south pole), so that they can be seen in some simulation or mechanism (motion movie). Thank you very much.

I started doing some of these examples. Yet, I couldn't figure it out how I can make the pieces shiny like in the tuts. I tried changing appearance, but it didn't work. Any help?
@hakanturhan64127 жыл бұрын
I figured it out. Realview graphics was disabled. I think Solidworks only support some of the quadro graphic cards. As I learned, we should add the card manually from some of computer settings to turn realview option on. Thanks Gabriel Davies anyways :)

READ BEFORE YOU START THIS. I'm so angry, first this DC motor is not this 1.30h video, but also the Rotor, which is 1.18h video additional. I get pretty pissed when I'm finishing this video and then discover there is a second one you must do in order to finish the motor. I do the rotor and surprise, in the final assembly the guy doesn't realize there are physical collisions (the rotor is crossing the case) so this design is physically impossible. There are also many other collisions because the design is not well done since the guy never used "calculate physical interferences"

which graphics card do you have? If you are using any of the Nvidia GForce cards this link has a tutorial to fixing the issue. grabcad.com/questions/how-to-active-solidworks-realview-graphics
@arjunsr33795 жыл бұрын
I have no graphic card in my laptop. But i managed to get that appearance. Its called Real View graphics. You need to change the registry for that. There are many tutorials on KZbin on how to change the registry to activate Real View Graphics.
