For fit spline option, go to top left side, there is a arrow rightwards of solidworks logo, click on that arrow (or just go to that arrow), then go to tools option, then go to spline tools, then go to fit spline.... Hope it helps....

Did you find an answer for this? I'm in the exact same boat, same version of SW as well. Mine's a 18/19 student edition and has spline/style spline/equation driven curve instead of fit spline. If you go to "Tools" at the top then go to "Spline Tools" you can find "Fit Spline" there.
