Does it have two way audio? Is there a speaker on the feeder end?

It's essentially a security camera inside a bird feeder that has two-way audio like most modern wifi cameras. There's a squirrel alarm also, I believe. It's not automatic but can be activated during a live view session.

Not if you don't put the screw back in every time ... A strong enough wind could probably remove the roof if the screw isn't there.

I need the system to only notify me of unusual bird visitors. It would not be helpful to receive a notification every time a common bird visited. Is this possible. In other words, ideally, the unit could be given a list of species that will NOT generate a notification.

That would be cool! Perhaps a firmware/software update will include a "bypass notifications" list.

If you don’t purchase a subscription plan, what can the feeder still do other than record on the SD card? The “no plan” option says it includes a 3-day cycle STG loop/STG capacity. What does that mean?

There is a 3-day rolling storage that occurs locally on the SD card (provided when purchased). You're able to connect to feeder via the mobile app, which is free to use, and view the most recent three days of stored videos. There's also an option to download the videos to your phone using the mobile app.

@@neals.deals.I have an iPhone, when I download or save the 15 second video bird feeder clips from the app, for some reason I can’t share the clips via text message to others. But if my husband saves the clips, then sends them to me via text, I can share them. He has an android. Am I doing something? Any tips?
