The support for this camera is awesome! They are so helpful and always get back to you fast as possible. I've had my camera over a year and when I had a problem we e couldn't solve they replaced it period. Great people/company! I really appreciate them!!! Ask questions they were so helpful to me honestly! The camera has everything you need and 8ts awesome. However if you get a few gloomy days you may have to take down and charge, but the solar panel work great and I had to do that 1x in a year! 😎 I have to admit I really love this camera and the support that comes with it!!!! These solar powered wireless CCTV aren't capable to record 24/7 right? I read somewhere that due to the limited power source, it can only be used if motion sensors are triggered.

it can but it will over record loop when the SD card is full.

The recommended install height is 9 feet. The range of the motion detection is 18 and view at night is 32 feet. These ranges for this camera is.unbelievably useless. I bought it and after.reading this information I immediately returned it.

Depends how dark it gets during the day.I tried the solar panel in the tropics and it keep charging to full even when there were dark clouds all day and raining non stop for 8 days.

solar cctv cant record 24/7, the battery can't handle that. It is usally on sleep mode then record during an event

Up until recently I was able to reset my Soliom S600 by holding the reset button and after hearing "system reset" the camera settings would revert to default and I could re-add the camera to the Soliom app. Now after holding the reset button and hearing the subsequent "system reset" the camera seems to retain its custom settings and when I attempt to re-add the device in the application the error message "device is already in use" pops up. Just wondering if there's any other way to hard reset the Soliom S600 other than holding the reset button?

Does that version of the UI allow you to DL recorded video to your phone? Not talking about when you do it LIVE.......I had a different make but the camera looks identical and the UI although named differently also looks identical. I returned mine cuz I didn't like not having the ability to DL video clips that it captures.

Camera is being used. No issues with solar, always full by the time the day is over and easily last through the night with heavy triggers( lights on) only thing that annoys me a bit is when it triggers on almost anything in its path, birds, animals and even bugs. Overall a solid cam

I only see good reviews on here so that is why I bought one. I have not had good luck with mine though. Works fine for a few days then is offline. So I go and take it down and reset it and the battery level looks good so I do not know why it keeps doing this. I am wondering if the battery is sometimes going dead and loses its configuration then afterwards recharges.

Pretty much wherever your phone gets WiFi. With the large antenna I’d imagine it can go a bit further but I’d use that spare range of any for reliability.

With this being a WIFI camera, How would it work at the end of a driveway... What is the distance away from the home WIFI that the connection begins to stop? I live in a rural area where the mailboxes are on the road.. For the first time someone took a package... I want to catch them next time, to have them arrested... They know not to walk onto anyone's property out here.. Because they don't want to get shot.... Because we don't wait for the police... I think it may have been the newest neighbors...
