I love how you used the e minor barre to play the intro. It made it so much easier for me because it rooted it, literally with the e tonic. And it kept everything compact in one spot so I could visualize the harmony. And as an advanced guitarist it made it easy for me. I've seen other videos doing the other approach that you talk about and didn't like them as much. I saw on guy just play e minor ninth to e minor flat ninth and then the hammer on and the open b and e and it sounded just fine that way. But I like the picking that Neil does. Thanks!

Thanks, for the comment @soupbonep! I've always preferred to "root" licks or riffs with the associated chord, and it's awesome to hear that this makes Solitary Man easy to learn!
