I have enjoyed rock music for 24 years. I have to admit that the metal genre is a powerful one that is full of emotion. The combination of Doom metal and Death metal is a true jewel in a sea of music genres. It sings about subjects that other genres can only hope to touch. Metal has a strong hold on their fans. Metal is forever.

I'm almost 60,still love death metal, it has no boundaries, born dark, die dark. Started with Black Sabbath in the 70's,started to play guitar,and life became clear, fk weak ass fakes,METAL IS COMING, STAND UP AND FIGHT. KEEP IT ALIVE.

This is good music. I literally have chills every time I hear it. It strikes a very heavy emotional chord in my soul. I have been through a lot of personal tragedy in the past 15 years of my life and listening to this makes me reflect. This music sooths my soul and allows me to grieve in a healthy way. Amazing shit.

The more you listen to it the deeper into the meaning and atmosphere you dive. Johan Ericson definitely killed it with the riffs. Some of the most epic and memorable riffs that were produced in Doom Metal. The music transfers you to a completely different, dark place. Oceans of Despair bleeds of melancholy and gloom. Thomas A.G. Jensen was a genius touch to add. Words can't explain how beautifully done this record is. A plain masterpiece!

I haven’t heard Saturnus yet, but I am about to listen to them for the first time. I just listened to Draconian for the first time yesterday, and I think Johan’s music with Doom VS is a lot better. I like Doom metal because I can relate to much of it, but I have a hard time taking black metal seriously.
