Solo #2 From Portraits in Rhythm

Here is solo #2 from Portraits in Rhythm by Anthony Cirone. This landmark orchestral snare drum book was written in the 1960's and continues to be very relevant today. The solos are for the intermediate to advanced student and are terrific for teaching musicality, phrasing, dynamics and rhythmic proficiency.

Oh man if only you made this a couple months earlier before I did this for my juries 😂 it seemed hard at first and really tripped me up, now it feels easy like I can do it in my sleep lol maybe my dynamics could be better though
