“Solo Adventures by Sally : My 2004 Round The World Journey” 😱 to jump or not to jump 😱

📸🌏 Embarking on a solo backpacking adventure around the world back in 2004 was like stepping an into a real-life fantasy world! 🏞️ This stop ; New Zealand. From staying with old and new friends to being an extra on the film set of Hercules (yes, really!), a quick spot of professional house cleaning, (gotta earn whilst you can), dangerous jet boating, and a quick slide down the lunge….. my Kiwi escapade was nothing short of epic. 🚁 Soaring over the “Remarkables” mountain range in a helicopter, followed by a heart-pounding tandem skydive, left me breathless and exhilarated. 🛍️ And of course, retail therapy and mouthwatering food were essential pit stops.

☺️ I visited 12 countries in 6 months…. Talk about having a melt down after a divorce 😱 🪂🪂🪂🪂think I get first prize 🏆 🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️ I must have been nuts. 🤦🏼‍♀️ but I must admit, it was a great experience.

Yes, they have closed it down, but I’ve got to be honest….. I’m very spiritual, and if I felt the ancestors weren’t happy, and I would have, I wouldn’t have gone near it. But it was the opposite, I felt welcome and empowered and strong and that it was right for me at that time, considering the crap I’d just come out of. It was soothing, like a cosy blanket. Its such a shame….. 😥🙏
