Nice video! It caught my eye because I'll be hiking over Duck Pass the week after next, moving on to VVR to spend two nights, then exit out over Mono Creek Trail to Mosquito Flats.

Thanks!! They actually weee awful!!! I ended up bailing a day early because it was super hard to fish and they were even at my camp 😅 but I went right at peak snowmelt so I guess I should’ve expected it. Have you been up there before or plan on going soon? It was so rad! I def wanna go back.

@@meghanstewart00 Yes, they are so annoying. I normally try to go at the end of August or early Sept. hoping they are almost gone. I mainly do trails between bishop and lone pine so Purple and Virgina lakes are in my to-do list. So many great alpine lakes to fish along 395. Looking forwards to the videos of the rest of your trips.
