@@zannibalable theyll obviously be better at higher levels, right now the way trainers give out spell ranks they have lower level abilities than melee at the moment. not to forget melee skills seem to scale by % + a bonus to damage so they manage far better than spells at this level

It's just a melee meta so I could understand some parse speedrun raids don't want to bring one. One warlock is fine for utility and they are actually decent dmg - highest of all the casters last I checked logs. But the melee and hunters are significantly higher than *all* casters. As for tanking, meta can be very very tanky but struggles on threat. If you spec, and gear, fully offensively you can hold aggro singletarget while still being pretty tanky. Your aoe threat is terrible but arguably the melee dps can just tank current trash mobs np. Besides that, you also need all the exact same gear the healers and other caster dps need, likely without any prio despite being a tank. tl;dr looking forward to next phase, we get hellfire+stun/spellpushback, 10% more fire dmg, and Searing Pain can get insane amounts of crit chance plus Ruin.

You can control a feared enemy by using Curse of Recklessness. Applying it suspends the “fear” effect. Fear them, before they run too far apply CoR and they’ll run back to you, switch to curse of agony and they’ll begin running again.

literally today did a pug with an 8/10 guild run. The other pug was a ret with the purple sword. He and I topped the meters on every fight. Two of their guildies died to the turtle boss bubbles, another 2 or so died to the murloc march. Best part? They didn't let me or the pumper ret roll on the aku'mai head for trinket and had not mentioned HRing it for guild in their ad. Gotta love it.

My guild only asks to people to join discord only. Only to listen because so many people go in, claim they know the mechanics but then do shit that makes what should be an easy breezy run much harder. Though we really only cared about this when we first started raiding and didn't have any raid gear. Cause I remember when our healer didn't want to join vc, said they knew the mechanics and we trusted them but then during Aku'mai they just constantly stood in front of his blast while being so far away like a bot (even though we straight up told them to just stay near the boss and pay attention) and just randomly cleansed (this was like our first raid run ever) actually made the entire thing much harder than it needed to be. Nowadays it doesn't matter cause we are all geared to hell now, but back then it was miserable. Like we don't care if you want to talk or not, we just wanted to make sure people know what they are doing. Though we never kicked people who didn't join VC we just wished they did, especially when they fuck up majorly over simple shit.

@@ivers1001 I fucking hate soft rez/hard rez. My guild does not do that. We are under the belief that everyone should always have a chance at gear they need no matter what. If it is main spec you need, off-spec you greed. Cause it would suck way more to soft-rez something, it not drop but then every other BiS item you need does but you can't roll. I would rather lose on every single BiS piece through RNG than because I chose the wrong soft-rez. We've literally had moments where the randoms we brought got every drop. It is just the way RNG goes sometimes, and yet somehow we are all still geared.

You can 100% remove the risk of dying by positioning yourself next to an underwater bubble since they respawn and restore about 300-400 mana every time you pick them up so no need to life tap since self injury is bad news. Also, make sure to apply haunt first since DoT clipping is present in classic which take damage calculations for things like drain life into account based on the current debuffs and state of the enemy, so proactive debuffs do nothing for retroactive DoTs. Happy soloing!

They do matter. Only garbage players think otherwise. If they “don’t matter” and it’s apparently “so easy”, then why do you have terrible logs? Everyone should have straight 99s and 100s if they “don’t matter” and “it’s an easy level 25 raid”. Justify to me why molten core vanilla wow logs presumably matter but BFD ones don’t? BFD is objectively more mechanic filled than molten snore, yet clowns like you wouldn’t hesitate to claim they are different. Literally every classic raid up to this point with the exception of heroic lich king n can be killed by low parsing garbage players. does that mean that logs don’t matter? Of course not lmao. Logs mattering have absolutely zero to do with the perceived difficulty of a raid. They are there to measure your performance when compared to other people playing your spec. There isn’t a single time in any raid in any version of wow where that “doesn’t matter”, and only grey parsers would say otherwise. Logs give you something to chase as a PvE player, which is why the vast majority of players that “don’t care about parses” end up quitting every new version of wow in phase 1 once they get bis. If you aren’t chasing parses it’s easy to fall into the attitude of “I got bis so why should I even continue playing”. Have fun with that. By the way, straight from blizzards own website statistics - “only 1.8% of level 25 players have full cleared BFD”. In other words, the average player at this game is terrible and the attitude you’re displaying here is contributing to that. The attitude that “it can be cleared in full greens with average players and a terrible raid comp” is the reason the average sod player is so garbage. To sum it up, you put in zero effort to gear or master your character, yet you feel entitled to an invite to my 25 minute BFD raid. That’s not how this works. You don’t like people with standards? Start your own group and take 2 hours clearing bfd. I wouldn’t care at all if you garbage grey parsing losers just made your own groups and wiped for hours on “easy” content - it’s when you demand that good players blindly invite you to their raids that makes me laugh. You aren’t entitled to anything except the company of fellow terrible players.

I'm REALLY hype for level 40 tank warlocks though for their sheer damage mitigation potential. Also really wanna see a lock OT for Patchwerk, that's got bonkers potential.
