For showers I use a 2.5 gal garden sprayer. You pump it and have pressurized water you can control. I painted it black to get it warm.

You make much better use of your boat than I make of mine. I have a 26-X too. How much gas does your boat hold now, and where is the tank? A mechanic friend advised against installing some huge tanks in the back berth because there is no firewall between there and the living area. As a result, I can't use the back cockpit area where you run the generator because a 12 gallon tank is there, and another under the driver's flip-up seat. I haven't taken the mast off mine yet, which makes the bimini top useless when the mast is down. Your cockpit table looks really useful too. You're invited to a barbecue party on my dock if you ever get to Merritt Island. You can watch a rocket launch from my roof if they do one while you're near here.

Hello again! The openings under the aft seats have been cut oversized to fit nine gallon tanks. I then bring along two 5 gallon cans I carry up on top. A total of 28 gallons. You might see them in a video. Thanks again for watching!

I like those Macgregor boats ... I seen a 19 foot one for sale then I started looking on youtube to learn about them , I like the 26X , I see one on craiglist with a 2 axle trailer & a Honda 50 for $14.900 , I think that's a little high on the price but I really don't know. biggist thing I like is the Draft & it goes on a trailer so no Dock fees

Hello! Yes, I love the darft - about 9" to 12" with the ballast full. I like it empty most of the time. If it's a newer Honda 50 it might be wot=rth a look. I have had boats in the past with dock fees. This is so much better, for sure! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing these videos. I love the MacGregors. Just wondering 2 things: 1) the height inside, I am 5' 10", and I'd rather find a boat that will allow me to stand up straight ... how tall are you? 2) the bobbing and rolling, seems like the Macs are so light that they bob around like a fishing bobber, doesn't that make you a bit wobbly? What about a heavier option, like a Catalina 25 swing keel?

Hello Robert. I am 6'1" and just barely touch in the area by the galley. You would be able to stand straight up. I would suggest getting on board one first just the same. The Mac has a water tank ballast that you can fill (about 1500 lbs of water) and that helps the rocking, Leaving a swing keel down tends to clank around a bit. I will fill the ballast and drop Rocker Stoppers off each side (three levels). I will bring them up in a future episode, but you can search them on-line. Don't know much about the Catalina.
