My first bow was 60 pound and $300, I’ve taken still to date some of the best pigs deer and goat in about 15 years of bow hunting, bottom line is it doesn’t matter what brand you have so long as your shot placement is spot on.

Another bloody awesome video. Hell yes! So many targets. Like a live 3-d range but with miles of walking. No doubt the summer heat is coming because it’s freezing here in the Texas panhandle. It’s good you’re showing the new hunters it doesn’t take $2500 worth of equipment to bow hunt. On pigs I use the cheap Walmart or Academy arrows and fiddle with them until they fly right. Takes a little effort but saves a lot of $ in the long run. Enjoyed this video 👍👍

Still running my 1980 Bear compound 65lbs that has taken that many pigs , deer , buff I stopped counting . Also run a Bear Kodiak 65lbs bare bow that I love for deer and pigs . Doesn't matter what you shoot as long as you're practiced and accurate .
@reellooseadventures10 ай бұрын
Yeah man its definitely not he gear that makes the hunter and 65lb is plenty enough and easier to hold and pull back so you don’t blow pigs on the draw
@ravenfeader10 ай бұрын
@@reellooseadventures One of the tricks I learned early was to thoroughly smoke my gear , clothing and myself and the animals will let you come in really close even if the wind changes . Pigs and goats especially , I have had them surround me feeding and not giving a stuff that im there .

Great stuff mate. Awesome country you are hunting. Great video footage. was that all on GO PRO? bloody good shots with a budget bow. Just goes to show dont need heaps of $$ to bowhunt successfully. Would be great to see some of the flagship bow companies give you some sponsorship. Hope they are watching..👍👍

Looks similar to the topoint M1 but theyre 15 - 70lb and your model of hori zone has a 65lb max. Either way their builds look so complicated but seem to perform quite well. Atm im using the samick sage takedown kit which feels really old fashioned and i love it

Hi question what do you do when you hunt the pigs do u leave it till you can pick it up or what and what do u use to fetch it if you do
@eddy83910 ай бұрын
mate all you need is a good bow tune, possibly a better bow. but if you get some good coaching it doesn’t matter what bow you have . good form and a tuned bow and your lethal and more ethical.
