I love these instruments. As has often been confirmed, they play on a different level in terms of realism and expression. But that means you have to price them at a different level. Considering how much knowledge and brain power is represented in these algorithms, I find the price reasonable and the price-performance ratio very good, especially in comparison to the desktop versions. Understandably and obviously aimed more at serious musicians than casual dabblers. The iOS music community seems to be too spoiled by the often very low prices anyway. Many seem to lack knowledge and appreciation of how much time and effort goes into most music apps, especially those who complain about high prices. Just my two cents. Thanks for the nice demo! I'd love to win the Tuba Eb.

I’m definitely not a horn player, but when I close my eyes, it just sounds like real horns to me. Great job showing off all the different flavors. Would love the Double Bass Trumpet.

Yes, considering the type of controller he's using. I'd like to find more iPad compatible wind controllers, myself. There is one, the WARBL, from a guy in Oregon, but other than that, it's mostly the more expensive wind synths, like Akai's EWI and Roland's Aerophone line. So far, WARBL is the least expensive I have found ($250).

I dig the way you’re using the Roli here. Simple MPE controllers probably help one focus on keeping the performance feeling authentic. Thx for the giveaway btw, would love a chance at the Tenor Bass Trombone.

Seems like you’re able to control most everything with the Roli Block + the XY pad.. impressive.. 👏 you’ve made it look easy although I know it wouldn’t be without practice, practice, practice.. like any instrument.. great sounds, loved watching you control everything + hearing the very realistic results.. I’ve been watching the Philharmonia Orchestra vids learning about the differences with brass since these apps were released. I thought I knew but there are so many possibilities. Euphonium means ‘sweet tone’... but I’d still love a tuba for that low down beefy tone.... I also bought idensity thanks to your video, definitely the most musical use of the app of all the vids I watched 👍

The sound quality is excellent and the disk usage negligible. But on the other side, the price tag is a little too high for the iOS world and the level of expressivity can be overwhelming if not really needed. Anyway, they are on a different level than the sample-based apps. Thank you for taking the time to showcase the sounds of this suite! Should I win, I'd like to receive a code for the flugelhorn.

Not really you connect via bluetooth to ipad and set it as midi input within apps. Only slight annoying thing is there is no roli app to configure scales etc but there is a third party app called block dashboard that does thankfully
