Overnight with hot tent close to a sea on the west coast in Denmark. Open the full video description for more information.
This is the long version of the video - here is the short version • Solo bushcraft overnig...
_________________
Location: Denmark - previous viking country. West coast of Jutland - sand, big sea, spruce and pine forrest. Some of the most remote in Denmark, but a lot of people in Denmark so limited how remote it can get. A lot of birds and deer. No bears only a few wolves - nothing dangerous for campers. If you want to do the same in Denmark do you need to be the owner or get the owners permission or only use the public camping areas.
-------------------------------
Consuming: Water, spruce and pine tea. Bread and pig.
-------------------------------
Most asked quistions:
1. What tent are you using?
2P SOSWA made by TSCHUM tschum.de/product_info.php?in...
2. What stove are you using?
POSHEHONKA BASIC S tschum.de/product_info.php?in... .
3. Does the stove pipe not burn the tent?
No. The pipe section which touch the tent does not get hot. It’s insulated. The rest of the pipe gets way to hot and will burn you and the tent. You can use the same stove in plastic tents.
4. Who is making the video?
I am. Just one camera on a tripod I move around. Just bring along spare camera batteries.
_________________
Some of the gear used in the video:
1. Sweater = unknown.
2. Axe = made by "Kellokoski" model 18
3. Pants = made by "Ridgeline"
4. Tent = made by "Tschum" 2p soswa
5. Boots = made by "Redback" original boots
6. Backpack = made by "Fjallraven" Kajka 65L
7. Sharpening stone = made by "Gransfors Bruks"
8. pot and kettle = made by "Eagle" 1.5 and 10 liters.
9. Gaiters = homemade

This guy is always so deliberate with his motions. Like, hardly any wasted energy at all. Must come with practice. Some of my favorite bushcraft videos here. =) No babbling, no bullshit, no "check out my Eludium Q36 Explosive Space Modulating Sleeping Pad I got from the fine folks at the W.W. Floot Company!" nonsense. Just good old camping, in silence, the way nature intended. =)

The level of commitment to continuity, shot setup, and scene editing here is second to none... it’s obvious you have a love for film making. Don’t change a thing. Don’t get a drone. These are perfect down to every shot. National Geographic could learn from these videos.

I like that you use candles to light your tent. Energy efficient LEDs might be bright and more practical, but science has not yet invented a modern light source that beats the cozy warm feeling of a regular candle. I guess it also doesn't hurt that the wax itself is a waterproof fuel source. Great video, thanks.

I love canvas for a tent. Unfortunately, here in the states, they are expensive. Most are nylon, and only last a couple of seasons. I have switched to using plastic tarps, which are cheaper, and can be set up differently according to the situations. You have a really nice tent, and the stove is cool. Oh, and thanks for answering my questions about splitting the wood with the wedges. Really cool tent.
