Thank you for sharing and a great video. Your looking great and you can see you lost weight. Keep up the great work. Glad to see someone honor our fallen hero's no matter the side. The Civil War was at times family vs family and they all fought for what they believed to be right. Times changed and we must not change the pass to fit a narrative, because we will never learn from our mistakes. Like you my family came from Poland in 1890's. Thank you and God bless you and your family.

Took a few days to finally get to watch this new one Tom. The boil looked great as usual. The cutting looks like it’s going to bring in a lot of browse for the deer which is just what you want…the woods may look a little ragged but chopping always do but the deer don’t care. I know exactly what you mean about taming your diet….I’ve worked hard at losing weight this year and I’m finally at my target weight. Makes it a lot easier to walk around the woods. I’m got some thoughts on that shower system you mentioned. I’ll talk to you about that latter. There is a 3 season series I think you’d love. It’s called Shooter. We just finished it and it was awesome. Look forward to part 2.
@whiterook852 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tim, yeah a little ragged for a bit. It will all just regenerate in time, and the brush and browse will be a welcome snack for the deer. I know there is a few options for the shower, I'm hesitant to spend a ton of cash because how often it will get used. Will look into the Shooter.

Hey Tom, Im sadly so far behind but I'm watching now as I get together some stuff to go hunting tomorrow mornjng with my eldest. He's looking for Grouse and I'm hoping to bag a whitetail. Might edit the comment as I go. The food! The shrimp boil was amazing but almost died when you cooked that whole bag of wings for yourself haha! You had a food coma after 10 lbs of wings haha! Always find these solo outings super interesting. Hope you and Mrs Rook are having a good fall. Edit, I thought the dog was a Brittany. We have the same breed. They're great dogs Tom. Super good family pets. Mines name is "Raider" and he is cuddling on the couch by me watching lol.

I was kinda surprised to hear some of the comments you made about the south, and then say you were not going to get into all that ? And that you had read a lot about the civil war ? Then you know that the war was fought over taxes, not slavery right ? Both the north and the south were corrupt, just like today the south had what the north needed for industry and food, but the south kept everything in the family and didn't change much, as the north was always changing ? Anyway not to argue, just so many people get that wrong ?
@whiterook852 жыл бұрын
Danny, yes I know it was not a single issue, it was deeply complete. States rights being one of them. Then your State was almost more important than the Country as a whole. One of the reasons Lee fought for the South even after being asked by Lincoln to be his top Commander. . Unfortunately today that's all it come down to a single issue, like everything thing else dumbed down. One note, I have a wall plaque of a confederate solider on my wall in the room I'm replying to you. We got that on a family vacation back in the 60's. No plans to hide it away in the attic. Brave, courageous and relentless.
