Thanks Tom , great to see u are about to enjoy another season. This will be the first season after 32 years of hunting at my Fulton county pa cabin that we will not be there to do the same.. As i mentioned before distance and age forced us to sell. Your vedios helps keep the memories of hunting at my cabin with friends and family alive. The years went by so fast. Thanks again ! Bob k.

Nice hunting hut. I built one similar. I bought strips of plexi glass off of Amazon for windows…. I put them on a hinge. I sit with just the one infront of me open, it’s two separate pieces on the front window. Keeps the scent in , stops the wind, keeps in the heat from buddy heater and you can still see….. just food for thought. I like your videos, you make me wanna do solo trips to my cottage as well.
@whiterook852 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info Devin, I thought about the plexi strips for the windows. Would be good to have when you don't need that entire area open. Will check into it. Going to make some adjustments to the front window, so will take some measurements when I'm finished up.

Good stuff . Beautiful weather and drone footage of the PA mt's. The logger guy with that small bull may be slower but he is able to slip in and take out the desired trees without wrecking and smashing everything else down like a crew might do with a big skidder machine. With the new blind up, firewood stacked and the cutting done you guys are in a pretty good position for the deer season. Those steaks with Pete were mouth watering. He must of really liked his. Nice to see it all coming together at the cabin. Hoping you have a great hunt down south .Looking forward to the vid. Until next time take care and RITP's !

Was great of Big M to hook you up with a nice blind. Once your logger has finished, I would look into broadcasting some winter rye or winter wheat on those logging trails. Clearly, the deer are using them, but having them knowing there is food in them would benefit your hunting even better. As always, enjoyed the video!
@whiterook852 жыл бұрын
The logger is going to do some of that for me. I gave him the rest of the Food Plot mix which was about 86% winter rye. He is going to do some of the trails and that landing area. Thanks, more to come.

Deer camp is only a few weeks away for us at this point 3 I think. Starting to get things ready and set aside today. Getting excited for the trip. Hi Kathy, first thing, go with a cellular game cam. No going back and forth to check your pics, sent right to your phone everyday. Browning is the best, good quality pics, long lasting batteries. On a budget, try Tactacam, or Stealthcam, super budget, but can disappoint there is always Spypoints. (I use them and really don't have issues with them like some people do).

@@jacobpoucher they are lighter, quieter,always crank, don’t have to worry about gas, 90% as strong as a gas one. I maintain many miles of roads and the electric pole saws are the best. He has access to power in the cabin. I am not some green nut but I know what works.
@whiterook852 жыл бұрын
I am definitely thinking of getting one, either gas or electric. Two options with the electric, battery, or corded which might not be bad if we had one of those solar power generators with us on the 4-wheeler. I think Eric does have the battery one already if I remember correctly. I know those trails grow in quick if you don't keep up with them.
