I have never been to Australia. I had a friend in Mackay. Always wanted to visit there. For a person who spends alot of time in the Rocky Mountain of the U.S. I really appreciate this video of yours. I stumbled on your videos and am enjoying seeing Australia via your videos. They are very well done and you have a great personality. Keep up the great job and safe travels on your adventures!

A friend of mine I met on Adopt a Backpacker is a freelance model in her early 20's and I'm in my early 50's... context - I've backpacked round the world so I adopted a couple of dozen backpackers who were stuck with no work or accommodation during covid... Anyway, she uses the All Trails App for her running/hiking, I've been teaching her to drive & 4WD when she has work in Adelaide, on her days off she has driven me to every All Trails hike within 200km, finds us cafes, lookouts and tourism points of interest and then a campsite at the end of each day to pitch our tents. I've been to most places before but am often surprised by the All Trails hikes and campsites I never knew existed, even though I've been travelling SA, Australia and the world all my life. She's hiked/ran pretty much all the All Trails hikes from Cairns to Melbourne, all of Tasmania and now working her way through all the SA trails. All Trails App is a pretty good resource if you like running and hiking plus would be useful for creating original content for your channel and saving money on experiences/ accommodation costs so you can travel for longer on your budget. Happy New Year btw

More great scenery! I love the fact that you are usually the only one at most of these parks and overlooks. This spot reminds me of Gorges State Park in North Carolina. Nothing like spending time in nature! Also love Golden Delicious apples, the best apples! The cold breeze got your Cold Uticaria going. I know it’s a pain in the ass, but you powered through! Good for you. Also, looks like it would be hard for you to carry the camera and run. Just my two cents. Like the figures too as I am an Accountant by trade. Not too bad so far being by yourself spending that much. Looking forward to the next entry!

Can’t beat the Vic High Country, we are spoilt having it on our doorstep. Pre Xmas there were a lot of tracks shut due to land slides and trees down. That area copped the heaviest rain out of all of Victoria when the floods hit. It’s all starting to open up now though. Hope you get an opportunity to hit some tracks and see some huts before you head west. Also whilst you are in Melbourne, check out Point Nepean. Very beautiful spot with some very interesting local world war 2 (defence of Melbourne) and post war history (Imitation and quarantine facility). Plenty of walks down there. Would be an awesome place to go for a run as well.

I think the costings are pretty accurate. It does seem fast to do the East coast in 3 weeks. Are you going to slow down and spend more time in SA, WA and NT? Are you going to do any of the inland stuff in the various states? I'm leaving on my Big lap around the end of May heading anti-clockwise, so going up to the Cape first. I have 15mths to complete it in and I plan to use as much of that time as possible :D

Your smashing it, already at 10K subs. Congratulations!! Your genuine-ness and happy/positive attitude reals people in. Once you get sponsorship, (inevitable, plus you have contacts in the industry to help you get it) try and get a good battery setup so you can run an inverter to power a small coffee machine, the best of the best in a pod machine is the Lavazza a Modo Mio, bloody awesome coffee. TIP for your jogging scenes, use your drone... it has a gimbal, just hit record and hold it in your hand (motor off obviously) just remember you won't have audio. All the best and happy new year!!

gopro on the bullbar is a good one gopro stuck on inside of the windscreen looking at you for driving reactions if you do any technical driving or seeing cool new sights from the cab etc another good one gopro on tripod, or drone hovering down low for getting driving shots to get the 2nd-person view without the second person suction cup gopro just behind the front wheel arch for another perspective, a bit overused imo, but used sparingly can be a positive thing I think if you get stuck, all the angles haha they're gonna want every detail anyway
