Awesome video. The Lago looks so cool; I wish it didn't narrow at the base. I know it is a backpacking tent, but I'd love a no frills SP tent that would fit a wide pad that didn't include a huge vestibule, etc. Basically my dream SP tent is the Lago with no slim down. Maybe the Minute Dome is going to be my closest fit (would love a video if you can swing it). Anyway, great video. Also, the Soto pour over cone can't be beat!

Hey, thank you! I prefer to use 25in wide mattresses as well and wish it fit. The minute dome would be awesome to test out, I’ll see if I can get my hands on one for an upcoming solo trip. The Soto cone is definitely becoming a favorite of mine! Thanks again for all your support on here!

Awesome Ryan 🙌🏼 First comment, yay! 😅 I have a question regarding your Takibi. I just got one and it doesn’t sit straight on that base. It’s wonky when viewed from above. I’ve modified the base now by making the cut outs larger but was a bit annoying that it wasn’t perfect from factory. Perhaps they are just like that? Messed with my ocd when it was all stacked up with the grill on top too, too many wonky lines ha! Using it is rewarding though I must say.

Hey, thank you! I've also noticed this exact thing with my Takibi when trying to get it straight with the base. I think it must be a manufacturing thing, but it still gets me all the time as well even after owning it for years now.

@@rtmadani thanks for your reply. Ok so it must be a manufacturing thing as you say. I don’t feel so bad about modifying mine now! 🤓

@@rtmadani Hello ryan We enjoy your video thanks again😊 Just a quick question, do u happen to experience or notice accumulation of some sort like black tar/soot like from a chimney/fireplace on your takibi tarp? I like the way to take care of your camping gear😊 How do u manage to keep your tarp so clean like you just bought it? Care sharing some tips please thank you. I would really appreciate it. Please continue making more videos coz we really enjoy it. Happy camping😊

Hey, that happens to my takibi tarp as well. The best way I’ve found to clean it is at home with a garden hose in the grass. I open up the takibi liner and rinse down the inside and then shake off any excess water. I built some drying racks in my garage to hang it and It dries pretty quickly. If it’s not too much soot build up, I just wipe it while set up with a wet microfiber and all the soot seems to just cling to the microfiber cloth. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. I really appreciate your support for the channel!
