Oh!! My home country! Thanks for such a wonderful video. Suddenly in my dotage I've been planning to take up camping. My first attempts will be on my cousin's property which is on the NSW side of the border (just). The thing that's bothering me are the wild dogs & pigs. Have you been hassled by them & what did you do? Adding a gun a good idea? We often see both dogs & pigs around on the river, so, am I being an old duck, am I being too worried? I don't fancy a big razorback rooting through my camp. If you want a nice remote camp in that area I'd recommend Merambego on the NSW side. It's not on the Snowy - basically you can't get through to the river - but it's lovely country with some great walking options.

Admire the solo camping trips, i do them myself, great way just to FULLY relax, The shot with the possum and goanna in it was well done. Enjoyed this one Tim, Cheers
@timbates4wdadventures3 жыл бұрын
G'day Paul, Spot on mate. Solo camping can be a very relaxing time to be out camping. Yeah, that goanna had his eye on that possum. Im tipping the possum heard the goanna coming and bolted out of that dead tree. Thanks mate for your feedback. Cheers Tim.

Love the country and the effort you put into your vids. Whilst watching your latest one, I noticed some good old Aussie adjectives you use. No malice intended but in this edition, ‘Magnificent’ featured 5 times; Beautiful 5 times and Sensational twice. Good descriptors for the Snowy region. I might do a count when I get sent your next segment. Good onya mate. 👍🏻🦘🦘

Gday mate Head towards McKillops Bridge Head down Little River Junction Tk It’s a fairly steep track off the road. It’s a seasonally shut track. You’ll be lucky to get that spot I camped in. That’s the only spot down that track with a stunning view over the Snowy River Don’t go down if it’s a wet track. Cheers Tim.
