@@timbates4wdadventures Tim the intro was an epic piece of solo filming and editing. We counted 20 or so angles just up to driving into camp, the splicing made it feel like you had a whole crew, the tall boom angle up the tree in camp was inspired, very much appreciate the work that took. "Casey" level effort, as many comment on his vlogs.

@@timbates4wdadventures looks like one of your GoPros was running a 'flat' colour profile and the other a regular one. A good reminder for me to keep the settings similar across two. I keep forgetting to set the date/time when replacing the batteries as well, to make syncing up easier. I've gotta get out there and practice more 😉

Nice Batesy, you WEEKDAY bandit you lol. Gr8 segment, the cracking of the fire was awesome. Gr8 habit you have Batesy of rocking up with a load of wood,. The camp site look well used, so being prepared with fire wood comes down to experience. Thx for the history on the bridge, I guess climate change happened back in 1934 also.

G'day Shayne, Thanks for that. It was a crackn spot to kick back for a few days. Yeah, i always get a roof load of fire wood before getting to camp. You cant always be guaranteed on having fire wood when you get to where you're camping. What i don't use, i leave behind for the next person. The bridge history is amazing whats attached to McKillops. Great spot. Must of happened way back then as well. Massive amount of water came down. Thanks for your reply and feedback. Cheers Tim.

Hi Tim. Thanks for the video. We have been looking to go to Mckillops bridge for quite a few years now. We finally got the chance this week (middle of July) and this video was the inspiration for staying at Little River Junction campground. Was surprised with the drive in, but never missed a beat in bog cog, got out of there before the rain came down though. Will definitely be back again, and will keep following your channel for some more inspiration. Cheers from the NSW Far South Coast.

Oh!! My home country! Thanks for such a wonderful video. Suddenly in my dotage I've been planning to take up camping. My first attempts will be on my cousin's property which is on the NSW side of the border (just). The thing that's bothering me are the wild dogs & pigs. Have you been hassled by them & what did you do? Adding a gun a good idea? We often see both dogs & pigs around on the river, so, am I being an old duck, am I being too worried? I don't fancy a big razorback rooting through my camp. If you want a nice remote camp in that area I'd recommend Merambego on the NSW side. It's not on the Snowy - basically you can't get through to the river - but it's lovely country with some great walking options.

Love the country and the effort you put into your vids. Whilst watching your latest one, I noticed some good old Aussie adjectives you use.
