Jun with a chainsaw. The look on your face was priceless. I really love seeing the scenery. It's very beautiful at all the places in your videos. I'm in the USA, and while we do have some pretty places. There's nothing quite like this.

@@JunOutdoors I'm in Texas, but prefer the northern states like Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. Utah is pretty as well, but in a different way than the other states I mentioned. I believe you would have a wonderful time camping here in the states. Don't camp in the south during summer though. The heat here is really bad. haha

The fridge was a game changer for me as it allows me to camp longer periods and I don't need a get ice. Cold drinks are always available. I have also upgraded my battery system to run the fridge for 1 week without charging. A bit overkill but hey more is better right? Love your videos and keep them coming :). The campsite looks great and I plan to visit it soon.

A battery system to run the fridge for 1 week without charging - that's amazing! Probably need to get some tips from you. In this weather, always having a cold drink makes it so much more bearable! Yea this campsite is really not bad, quite relaxing but you do have to bear with the traffic noise tho :)

@JunOutdoors
@JunOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Lots of wildlife here as it is just next to a forest reserve, located at the southern edge of the Titiwangsa mountain range. And yes musang is a possibility, but after some googling, I think it was an Otter!
@garysim8575

😃ooh if it was an otter, then there must be a deep enough water source - but the stream looked kinda shallow to support aquatic life.... maybe there a deeper lubuks..

Hey! Well I'm not sure if that was a Tapir, but from the looks of it, and some Googling after, and few comments by other viewers, it was most likely a Memerang (Otter)!

a proper 4x4 truck is probably the better upgrade option, something like Hilux, Triton or D-max. Can do proper off-roading & explore really 'wild camping' sites with it 👌 my wish-list would be the Suzuki Jimny, lulz.😁
@JunOutdoors
@JunOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Nice! Jimny used to be my dream car too but later on I figured it's too small for me... I need space! Lol. Yeah the plan to get a proper 4x4 truck is definitely brewing. Won't do any extreme off-roading though, more for overlanding with some off-roading capabilities when needed, that's all :)

The chainsaw cut was down to 3 quarter length, no additional air channel whatsoever. Hmm thanks for your input! I do believe it was also because the log was damp

Hi Jun. What is the battery / powerbank that you used to power up that fridge? Is it sufficient?
@JunOutdoors
@JunOutdoors Жыл бұрын
The powerbank I'm using is the Bluetti EB240. It's got 2400Wh. Depending on how cold I set the fridge to be, it can last for anything between 48-72 hours without a recharge

do the suspension lift & AT tires 1st..that can make you go further more. Ironman suspension lift with BFG KO2 are the best. no need for a new truck unless if you're planning to do a lot of upgrades on the truck & want to go for off-roading in the woods. and it will cost you a lot more & that might hold you back to go for more adventure.
@JunOutdoors
@JunOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your input. Appreciate it. The plan to get a truck is not much for off-roading, but for another future plan that may involve overlanding. Hence might be a better idea to change the vehicle now and start the build. Cheers!
