One thing I used to love about Comics back in the 60s, was the run up to bonfire night and Christmas, the Comics always had firework stories the run up to Bonfire Night, grate days!

I remember Candy but not Solo. I was 7 then, and didn't think much of Candy. Century 21 was excellent tho'! Thanks for that!

The Scarecrow of Romney marsh was one of the very best of the Walt Disney series. Tried to make a scarecrow mask after seeing it but was too small to figure out how to do it.
@sixtieschild10359 ай бұрын
did it show in the uk?
@mrwoodandmrtin9 ай бұрын
Yes , Late 1963. It was a film and as a 3 part TV spot. It's all on KZbin if you want to see it - only SD though.. Mr. E models has done a bit on it.@@sixtieschild1035

I don't remember it either. I do remember Century 21, I remember that comic being huge in size. AS I only had so much pocket money I had to choose, and Dandy, Beano and Hotspur always won out.

Hi! Disney's (I think) Scarecrow was like a pale Zorro and starred Patrick McGoohan (of 'The Prisoner' fame). Wasn't brilliant but a bit of fun. Glad to have you back. Cheers!
