Barrett and TJ Lakes are beautiful when the water level is high and they make a great day hike.

Very nice video, especially the opening drone shots and music. I've done this hike since I was a kid, and love it. Next time you can follow the outlet creek from TJ Lake down off the trail and back to Lake George. One minor correction, the reddish ridge at 3:30 isn't Red Cones. It's the front volcanic ridge of Mammoth Rim (aka Mammoth Crest).

I wonder if we'll ever see these views again without snow. My June permits out of South Lake are fire starter at best now....unless I get some snowshoes.

Love this channel, but are those drone shots legal?

Thank you! Yes, all shots are flown outside of congressionally designated wilderness and I follow all local laws.
