Solo ranked is so hard. So close to diamond but randoms are letting me down. Everyone drops hot but can't actually handle it then start crying. Nothing wrong with playing slow and getting those easy clean up third party kills. KP don't mean shit if you're dead with half the lobby still alive

2 kills and top 5 placement is better than 5 kills and low placement (i.e. worse than 15th place) So yes, you are 100% correct. Playing slower and not dropping hot is a top strat.

It's because pubs is full of masters and preds, that's why people play ranked for fun cause they get destroyed in pubs every single time and in ranked they have a chance to have fun. Fun meaning hot dropping for a lot of people. 'They' is 'me' btw, sorry if people like me make your ranked experience harder, at least I don't solo drop, so that's something

I get it. Randos like to hot drop. Many of them make it no more than 30 seconds before they're down. Then they quit a second after that. This season has been tough for me in solo rank. I've managed to grind into platinum no problem last season. Season 11, I've been stuck on gold. I admit I haven't played as well as seasons before but it also feels randos I've been paired with have been some of the worst players I've played with.

Got on Apex after work yesterday and was consistently matched against 4K 20 kill sweatlords when I only have one 3k with Mirage. Needless to say yesterday was full of a lot of dying and me wondering why Apex thought I was good enough to go against sweats. Apex is fun when you play people at your skill level and get the rare squad that doesn’t leave on down.

Bruh! I started playing Apex on console 3 weeks ago, have about 400 kills on all characters combined, and get consistently matched with 4k 20k sweats in both ranked (im in gold) and pubs (in pubs its even worse)

Last season was my first time playing ranked; solo ranked at that and I almost hit diamond and got hard stuck on platinum 1 because my teammates kept playing like it was pubs and they had infinite lives. I just took the L and didn’t continue to push for diamond because I was literally one good match away from hitting diamond but all I did was lose RP and I simply didn’t want to rank down. It’s a shame people don’t understand you actually have something to lose in ranked and some people try their hardest to get what seems like nowhere at this point.

solo q ranked arena is even worst. Game gives you low level teammates under 50 level and enemies are 500 lvl masters/preds 20bombers. I lost 370 AP in one day

Yeah I understand how matchmaking could be difficult to balance a 60 player match. But arenas you would think would have some kind of filter to prevent a full stack squad from going against random 3 man squads.

If your an Xbox player, go to the LFG and keep playing with people through there until you find 2 people who vibe with you and stick to playing with them. It takes time, but they're out there, and once you find the homies, ranked becomes easier

Don't feel bad man, I had to solo from bronze to platinum this cycle. Tonight is the first time in four or five seasons that I was able to three stack a plat lobby. Because of this I made it to Plat III but that's as far as I'll make it before the split.

The thing is everyone blames teammates but the truth is ur the problem if ur hardstuck the olny ones that actually have reason to blame teammates are the ones that kno wat to do but there hardstuck teammates that would have been demoted if possible think they also kno wat to do and they don't wanna listen to the one player on ur team that knos how to climb (not saying all hard stucks do that cuz some follow my every play and realize that at the very least I can gain rp for them)

Sorry rich but the sweaty lobbies are just not as enjoyable to watch. I love everything you do and try with us as an audience but for me personally it wasn’t as good as your usual videos.
