Taking a short trip can be a great source of inspiration. Rome is a wonderful city to find inspiration, filled with history and art at every corner. I was in Rome in 2019 and started a watercolour sketchbook while there. Unfortunately, my daughter and I wanted to see so much of the city that I didn't do much sketching after all. However, I took photos and notes so can still finish it. Thanks for the trip back to this beautiful city.
