Just found you today and I've gone through at least a dozen of your videos already. I share all your interests - wargames, rpgs, and solo games, though I like other types of games as well. Everything you've done is worth watching to me, thank you! I plan on buying your solo book once I save up for it.

@@GeekGamers01 Have you tried the RuneQuest Solo Quest books in the past? I'm guessing from what else you say having that much structure isn't your preference? I did enjoy them back in the day.

Another great little system. Thanks for sharing! I've decided that when it comes to making the dungeon & plot points, I'm going to use the Mythic system. So base number starts at 5, then if a plot point get resolved with a lot of action, it goes up one. If not, it goes down one. Also, each time you complete a plot point and get to add +1 to a stat modifier, I'll let characters opt to do that, or roll 1d6 to add to either HP or Mana. Edit: Fun note - I just noticed that the magic system used in Liminal Horror is the same one as Maze Rats. I'm assuming it's the same person that wrote both then. It's actually my favorite spell system.

No it’s not the same person but Maze Rsts (by Ben Milton) is acknowledged as inspiration for Liminal Horror.

i need a suggestion for a theatre of minde scenario (room are 1 square box): what is best on a normal room discovering, to roll everything all at once as soon i discover the room OR look for doors and encounters first and beat it, and only then for features and traps? Cause tables have something that suggest to roll them later on other beforehand...i usually roll in this last order but maybe you or somebodyelse can help me out with smart suggestions. PS: this is a reallylittle-great system for solo players, i love it, is minimal and easy, short and fun. Doesn't lack a "progression" and homebrewing stuff is really easy as it seem pretty "modular". Nice video as always :)
