@@Slashoom No real reason other then I wanted to mindlessly kill. I just got annoyed with having to kill Prophits to avoid fears, The dudes that stun, and nuking the MC dudes. I do think you could push a bit more xp in sethekk, but just didn't want to deal with the packs =). Mana tombs nobody really does anything special and the risk of dying is a lot less. Just my thoughts

Maybe I missed it in the video but what kind of gear are you using? I haven't really been able to settle on just dps gear or a mix of dps and tank gear to make bigger pulls.

Would this still be better than northrend dungeons as a duo (feral druid and unholy DK) ? I was thinking of doing Shadowlabs until I can get summoned to the nexus but will this farm better until the mobs go grey?

That's a good question. I haven't done much testing as a duo so I can't really speak to it much. My personal plan is mana tombs to 72/73. I believe they go grey at -9 level, meaning they will be grey when hitting 73. Sethekk to 75/76. Personally i don't like shadowlabs cause the mobs run when low, but i may give it a go to 77 or just do UK. Icecrown banners/hero unholy farm till 80. I am trying to stay in the auchindoun area for the buff as long as possible

That's where it starts cutting off, I was doing about 775k/hr at 76. No buffs (other than auch) and lower xp gains.

I’ve been debating what to do level wise, I cba to quest so dungeoning is the obvious choice, I’m doing nexus on launch night with guildies so based off this video it’s probs best when I’m solo to stick to green level range mobs in dungeons? I had a pretty easy time soloing shadow labs at 70 so I imagine the first rooms up to boss #2 there would be pretty fat exp do you think?

Insane guide, the buffs are definitely very nice - another dungeon that might be viable could shattered halls (you can buy the 5% xp buff from the marks you get from the daily honor quest)

Im curious - you refer to this being 1.2 mil exp and to show "the actual fastest way to lvl DK" Ive done a couple tests and ive not ggoten more that 700k? and by looking at your exp bar you get around almost 3 bars a run with abit rested , so thats over 6 runs/lvl or wich isnt possible to do without getting locked? so even going slow you would do 4 runs wich would give 12 bars. In other words is it possible to get and then having to do 3 more runs the next hour to push over 100% so thats almost 2 hours a lvl wich imo cant push the exp/hour over 1 mil? I might be wrong ofc, but just cant get my head around it being the 1.2 you are claiming?

You need to run into the circular room (not hallway) make sure you don't hit him with anything or he will stay agroed. You run into the pack on the left and he should reset

It is really nice xp for the 2hrs but my question is how much worth it is it for the time it took you to go get the buff and for you to do the quest chain to get the buff. Would you of made almost the same xp total if you just would off cleared the dungeon 1 more time witch would probably be the same amount of time it took you to do the chain to get the one buff?

Trying this as a fresh level 70 dk after solo grinding blood furnace and I can't even kill the first pack without splitting them up and using cooldowns. Is there any cheap gear I should get first? Edit: I spent roughly 230 gold on some gear with more armor and stam and it's not even comparable. Works great, thanks for the guide

You need a 2 hander for this build. Heart strike and death strike will hit like wet noodles with 1 handers.

@@jakelamond7404 dw is best for frost spec, and best for Unholy spec at 80, while blood can use any weapons, but these solo builds specifically require a 2h generally for the big K0 damage from cleaving, ur 2 1hs arent wasted though, u can tank dungeons in wotlk / dps as frost etc

Using your build I was able to clear in about 28 minutes (looting and not doing any crazy pulls). Wondering if it is better to just start / stay there or do the 2 levels in MT then hearth over there. Run through the hallway into the next room. Agro the pack on the left and run into the cubby behind that pack. Make sure you dont hit the boss. If you hit him, he will stay agroed.

But everyone else can buff your main and then u can log out and have all the buffs yes. I tried it and your main definately is shown as offline and you cant see him bro haha

open another window of wow and then login so it force logs you and that character will still be logged in so you can buff it

First thing, yes you can. Second thing, try Alt-F4 then immediately click Play in the launcher, log onto the buffing character, and then buff. When you ALT-F4 the game leaves your character in the world for a full minute. This is to avoid exploits with mobs, instances, pvp etc; no rage quits if your character is dead anyways.
