Condensation forms on the coldest window. If the night was cold, the prevailing wind will cool off some windows more than the others. I suspect wind was blowing in your wind shield that night.

I live in Northern California it's beautiful and the weather is mild year round can be very hot in summer but not humid which is great. Lord you be safe that would freak me out what he said about the crime in that area be careful especially being alone as a female.

The damp air from your body is getting in between the window covers and the glass and condensing against that glass. To solve the issue you would need to prevent that but that's tricky. I sometimes use pairs of rare earth magnets, placing one on the outside of the glass and another on the inside of the window covers along the edge to make sure it closes tight. It depends on the temperature difference too, the greater it is the harder it will be to stop condensation.

U need a drone.. too beautiful their or any where you travel to not have one.. also recommend getting dash cam that has a front and rear window option that u can access thru ur cell to give u extra protection at night since ur traveling alone. You can literally go to ur phone, pull up both cams to see if anyone is around your car without pulling down the shades in ur windows. First time viewer.. now a subscriber. Stay safe … njoy life

San Fernando Valley and did a 2.5 months vacation back East visiting family and friends. I stopped in Colorado Springs and My family took me to a Beautiful forest park called North Cheyenne Canñon’s OMG.!. The state park was so Beautiful and the hiking trails was outstanding. Maybe the next time you’re even in Colorado Springs. Colorado. You must check it out. You would be amazed of all the beauty and wildlife out there. You have some leak that’s letting moisture in your window, if you know someone that can look into sealing it, it’ll prevent future problems of humidity ruining the electronics in the dash. Been there, done that…take care of it if you can.
