Hey Friends, This is part 1 and part 2 will be out tomorrow; I am almost finish editing it, (it's a longer one). But before you comment something crazy or rude regarding this video, I'll go ahead a give a spoiler - I did not cause the water damage in my RV. You'll see what actually happened in tomorrow's video. 😮‍💨 It's been crazy on my end, getting back to The States and getting my home back in this shape 🥲 But in the end, everything happens for a reason and it will work itself out. Have you considered maybe investing in two of those Rid Moisture containers from home depot it will help keep the moisture that water leakage has caused while you are at the campground? Maybe put one under your bed where the wood got wet and one in your bathroom.

It's so interesting to see the ins and outs of living with Tia and Tamera. I have driven with a trailer *one* time and one time only- I had to get out and ask a stranger to help me maneuver a gas station parking lot. That was so embarrassing. I think it takes special kind of brain to be able to tow. You caught on so fast too. Remember you're doing amazing. You're living the dream, growing pains and all. I loved your Guam series by the way! I really want to go there now!

Very good that you found the leak. I see others have already suggest connecting the opposite ends of your hoses, which what I do. For extra protection and to ensure there are no leaks if the hoses detach during travel, I put my fresh water hoses in one sealed container and my sewer hoses in a separate sealed container.

I highly recommend the Ikea PÄRKLA storage case. They are $1.99, rip-proof, waterproof material (besides the zipper I assume), easy to clean, and would be perfect for hoses. The material reminds me of the floor of a tent. For those in a traditional home, these are also perfect for under the bed storage.

Brittany, Tip of the day: try seeing if you can connect the two end’s together on your garden hose. If so, this should prevent the hose from leaking in your rig when not in use. I hope that works for you.

I am so sorry you are having these experiences right now. You are strong and this will make you stronger...Hang in there! You may want to consider placing items in the storage area. Especially the hoses. That way if it happens again( hopefully not) the hoses will be in a container and the water will be contained. You may want to put in charcoal mildew prevention bags,, they work wonders hang in there! Your hair is beautiful i love the hair addons jewelry lol ( can't think of their names )

We have one of those collapsible trash can that we put our water hose in after usage so in case any water drips out it just goes into the collapsible trash can just a thought

I’m following another van lifestyle person Nomadic introvert, almost same situation she have some good tips as well. She keeps this container that keeps the moisture out of her van. So sorry you came back to your water issue. I'm NOT an RV owner nor an expert. I like the idea of maybe storing your hose in a small plastic tub. You could even put some kitty litter in the base of the tub and lay the hose in it. Another idea would be to hv a plastic storage box mounted on the outside of the trailer that has a small hole drilled in the bottom to let out any excess water. I wouldn't put the hose in a bag because of mildew inside the bag. Whatever your choice you only want to go through this once. Your trip was beautiful and inspiring to us all. Your channel is very inspiring. Keep doing you. 👏🎉

Kinda funny because I do rural outpatient hospice nursing, so that can be a challenge in WY but I always seem to make it work.
