Yes I enjoy your videos. Yes, I’ve had problems with my own depression and sometimes even anxiety, but my husband passed away years ago and being by yourself is like one day at a time don’t let people get to you. They’re some people are just stupid. They say things and don’t even think about what they’re gonna say before they say it so take thatand remember that because that’s not kind. We have to be kind to each other. Thanks for posting.😂

The people making negative comments are nothing but bullies . They only have power if you let them. They are missing something in their life, so they have to pick on someone else to make them feel better. There is no one in this world that can say they are happy all the time, and if they do, they are lying. It is okay to be sad and depressed at times as long as you are not hurting yourself or others.

I'm a retired nurse, worked in mental health and addiction services. Glad you can vent yours feelongs. You are a smart cookie🤗. It is THEIR, the other people, problem when they get abusive in thought and physical. Too too bad they take it out on someone else, I agree. I totally know what you mean about "those" moods. I don't think people realize how much of the physical is involved when we get them. I've learned, over time, that when they come, it's best to completely 'change the channel'. Stop everything I can and go do something random and different like go to a movie in the middle of a weekday by myself. Get a big popcorn and let myself become completely immersed in some other person's life on the screen. Maybe take myself to a diner or Chinese joint for some comfort food that SOMEBODY ELSE prepared. Van Life doesn't all have to be about camping, hiking and physically testing yourself. Sometimes your outer adult needs to stop and take your inner child 'out to the fair' (figuratively speaking), and take just a little time doing something different, and purely for enjoyment. (That's what I mean by 'changing the channel'.) Hope this helps! 😊😊😊

Very good to share your feelings, I'm in my 60's abut to start my Van life journey & document on YT, I go through anxious moments & self doubt, what I find helps is deep breathing & telling myself that I'm OK, everything will be ok & to let go of the negative emotions . It is very depressing to know that there are those disturbing people that feel the need to make awful comments in the world when you are a person that believes in & practices kindness. I felt just like that at the beginning of this week. Am better today but I know it’ll hit me again eventually. My cold water swimming helps me through all of it and my wonderful swimming friends I made since I started the swimming journey. If I don’t see them for a few days, due to weather or work commitments, my mood goes down. But I always get through it and so will you. And you have accomplished so much since I have started following you. I have a little mini van with a bed in it but I was am not quite brave enough yet to go on big trips, especially in the winter. But I will be braver this year 😊 Take care and look after yourself. You are amazing xx

I think what you're going through is normal because everything you described is how my life is. Its russian roulette as far as, will I wake up and think i can concur the world, feel fine, need to stay in bed or take something to settle my nerves. It's not always what's going on. I am always thankful to God for my blessings, a roof over my head, food to eat, and peace in my home. I agree it is hormonal or just an imbalance in my body. Im also leaning to give myself grace. That's been a really big win. Thanks for sharing .❤

You ARE not alone. I’m a very sensitive person. You are in a great place out walking but the water. There is something so therapeutic about that. It’s a great place to think or just reflect on life. I find nature ( Gods creation which we are part of) A great place to find peace. When I’m feeling in a funk, and I do sometimes, I get out and walk in nature. People who say negative things usually are not very happy and want to share the misery. You are inspiring.

I started watching & subscribed to your channel when you first got the van. I could see that project wouldn’t take you long…only so much you can do,right? So I figured you would be needing a larger task soon, like a Sprinter,etc. to keep you busy! I started restoring small sailboats, to try and avoid what might bring on the feelings you’re going thru.

Getting out of the city and into nature has always helped me. Reading general comments on the internet can put me in a funk l couldn't deal with a KZbin channel, probably more beneficial to talk to the camera than talking to yourself like me though, lol

I learned that a certain look word or gesture can give me symptoms of anxiety or temper. And they are symptoms. Just remembering this calms me back down. Like it's not my fault. Good to know

Sorry Deb I started to watch this when you posted it and got sidetracked and forgot what I was doing. Seasonal depression is absolutely a real thing. I suffer from it everytime I'm forced to spend a winter in NY. I just keep telling myself things will look better once spring gets here. In the meantime, I really don't know the answer to it, except what my mom always says to me - This too shall pass. Sending you warm thoughts and healing love

hey Debs, yes miracle beach is very special, good spot to take in some of mother natures gifts, and I think that is great that you are being vulnerable on here, or I should say just being real ,I am really sensitive, don't know if i could handle the comments, i`d probably block them ha ha .Not sure if you have kids, or if your from this area, what you did in your past life , that brought you to this point ?maybe that's something that you share gradually or not at all ha ! , when I look at the channels that are successful, there's a sense of sharing not just about van life, and yes that's great but stories of how you got to this place now. but that is just me sharing my thoughts with you, those are the channels i stick with, I am from the uk and follow a guy called mad mark, seems theres a zillion channels out there, and time is our most precious commodity. thanks for sharing .Love your determined spirit...

Yes, I came in here to write the same. I learned that when I get a bought of anxiety, it is 99% after I consumed more sugar or even just 1/2 glass of wine the day before. And just knowing that it was probably the sugar and it will pass, takes the edge off.

Could be as simple as low throid or Vit D Go see your doctor. Meds for throid changed my world.
