Actually, the way the drops in the encounters works a bit differently. Let’s just say you’ve never done prophecy before and then you get the hand cannon from the first encounter and that’s the only time you’ve ever done prophecy. You’re only going to get the hand cannon every time you do it again. When the weekly reset comes by, if you get the cloak the next week, if you do it again you have a chance of getting the cloak or a hand cannon. The weekly reset gives you something you haven’t obtained and then it expands your possible loot pool for that encounter. If you have gotten everything, then you are always going to get a random thing from that encounter even on your first run of that week

for my hunter mains, in case you are tempted and wondering about a way how to do it, I was rocking a bottom tree nightstalker with graviton forfeit for the infinite invisibility and it was a smooth sailing for the most part. this way you can pick your fights whenever and wherever you want. I just smoked myself, got in the knight's face, gambler's dodged, two-tapped him with my blasphemer to the head before he even did anything, smoked myself again, picked up the motes and repeted this for the whole dungeon basically. best thing about it is before picking up the 5th mote, you smoke yourself again and then you got those long 11 seconds to deposit the motes while not being focused at all.. my exotic weapon of choice was my baby the trinity ghoul, which worked like a charm, but for the final boss I swapped to lucky pants and eriana's. Btw thanks for the vid my man, I done this dungeon once, maybe a year ago lol and needed to freshen up my memory, so thank you for the tips. good luck everyone, what a cool dungeon ;)

9:29 OMG that's so rad! SMG/blinding GL/sword/survivability build and boss melt super for everything besides final boss, then switch weapons to fusions and LFR with Particle Decon and for debuff. CWL mods with taking charge to receive it, then use Lucent Blade with the sword, and High Energy with the fusions. There's a lot of nuts and bolts that Mano explains very well here, but the above has worked for me 100% of the time this season. Oh! And always run solar chest piece so you can do solar resist and concussive damp

-A little tip if you struggle with the Phalanx Echo booping you out of the map, try to look outside of the arena for walls you can stand on.- -If he throws you out, you go further away instead of back in. Landing anywhere there will activate the "Joining Allies" thing, which doesn't count as a death. You will lose any motes you had, but you won't die.- Apparently that screws up your flawless run, so nevermind all that lol Still useful for farming the hand cnannon/sniper, I guess.

Great vid! On the subject on the final encounter - Enemies infintely spawn here, but only redbars. So, as you say, you can run Sword Ammo Finder in the helm to spawn more purple bricks, but combined with Riskrunner (being an Exotic primary) you can probably not take too long to farm up to full shots of your Linear Fusion of choice. Also it may help to do more damage if you get a Fusion Rifle with a long range Kinetic Primary for the Boss Run itself. Reason being you stack stack Particle Disruption to max with one shot of the Fusion, and it'll shred any Hobgoblin you're in close contact with.

For anyone who might not be able to kill blights fast, there is a trick to kill them relatively safely. This works for any blight in the game. Just jump into it's area of effect and land directly on top of the blight. You'll stop taking damage. For some reason the blights are only coded to damage players below them. Just look down and shoot the blight until it dies.

This guide is great and helped me make ideas for my first solo flawless! Using a mobility exotic and a light weight weapon makes enemies have a much harder time hitting you. I ran transversives and an ignition code in my flawless run and it helped a lot.

Some tips going into it: Take it slow. Always. If you need 4 damage phases for a boss, take 4 damage phases. Slow beats dying Always clear ads first. Same principle here; better to take it slow and clear everything than die to psions that duplicate

Quick tip for ribbon road, you can always just leg it across them without a sparrow for following the platforms at the end will have you miss the secret chest. Also, Always On Time is the *worst* sparrow for this, its velocity makes the tighter turns and bends harder if blasting at full speed and it's very easy to Destiny Physics yourself off the ledge.

On the second encounter, there is a mechanic i think only few people know about. If toland is on top, you can bank wherever you want, but if you want to make progress you have to look at the cube in the middle. If the side you want to bank in is already light up, you don‘t make any progress and have to do 7 phases instead. But if you bank on side which is not light up yet, you‘re making progress.

A Well for first encounter lets you by pass goblin and the phalanx's shield immunity thus allowing an easy one phase as long as your using a lament or guillotine

If you can survive without devour, using a Well on the Phalanx Echo is a little more efficient. Obviously you get the damage buff, but you also are able to swing your sword through his shield as long as he is also in the Well. This results in a higher chance at a one phase, which is pretty important on that encounter. Outside of that encounter, Devour is terrific the rest of the way

This is a great guide, and I'm definitely going to implement a lot of the final boss room tips this season. I do want to mention though that you gave the wrong advice for when Toland is on the ceiling! You need to look for a plate facing a BLANK cube side. Basically, the encounter continues until you have visited all rooms, and all cube sides have a symbol on them. If you choose at random, you will likely make this encounter much longer than it needs to be; esp. bad when trying to solo!

Great guide. One thing though, in the MC Escher encounter, I didn't hear you mention that Toland can sometimes spawn on the plate on the ceiling instead of on one of the wall plates, at which point it essentially means "Wild Card" and you can obtain whichever type of mote you want. Other than that, very very well done :)

If you use Heat Rises and hug the left or right wall so tight ur can't breath you literally rise all the way to the top without stopping. so fun and easy once you figure it out. just a tip.

I haven't watched all the way through but you didn't explain the ceiling Toland ball enough, you need to find what side of the cube in the middle doesn't have a symbol on it and then deposit on the blank side. if you go back to one that you already have it messes it up and you need to do more than six.

I've run Prophecy 100s of times, and I've never seen that before. For your reference, the explanation for the Hexahedron room starts at 10:25 or so. I explain the normal situation, and where Toland is on the ceiling. Will experiment to see if I can replicate the thing you're talking about but literally NEVER have had more than 6 rooms. (That's why it's called Hexahedron) Might be a bug? Dunno. Thanks for watching.
