what is the trick for 1-2 skip? i find the old method of shooting crystal doesn't work anymore - it doesn't leave 1 crystal like b4 - in video doesn't seem need to shoot, but can't tell how it's done

Oh good, it's not just me then! Literally the night before I got this clear, I was able to easily shoot all except the small crystal. The way I did it here was to just be jumping into the right corner as I fired the crystals at the floor and eventually it would push me up onto the platform.
